Mass Prohibited: Francis' Centralism Turns Bishop Into Crash-Test Dummy
Fargo Bishop John Folda, 61, North Dakota, told his faithful in January he would ask Rome for permission to keep the Roman Mass at his cathedral, Sara Ray, one of the faithful concerned, reported on social media.
This week, Folda received the, predictably, negative response. Folda will close the doors of the Cathedral for the Mass on September 11.
Possible alternatives include another church or a Novus Ordo Eucharist in Latin at the cathedral, facing God, but no concrete options have yet been discussed.
Folda is "conservative". The pictures below show him in April 2021 at a prayer in front of an abortion clinic in North Dakota.
