Here Are The "Essential" Services in A Conservative Diocese

During the current lockdown, Portsmouth Diocese, England, only allows those parish activities which it calls “essential voluntary services."

Diocesan guidelines (below) list the following examples: blood donation, food banks, group meetings up to 15 participants for therapy, mutual aid or education.

Masses, baptisms and weddings remain forbidden. Portsmouth is led by Conservative Bishop Philip Egan.
