Pope of Contradictions: Green Francis’ Petrol Business
Francis spoke again about a “climate emergency” in a message sent to a Conference promoted by the Pontifical Academy of Sciences on "Resilience of People and Ecosystems under Climate Stress."
"The phenomenon of climate change has become an emergency that is no longer on the margins of society,” he threatened.
Father Joshtrom Kureethadam, coordinator of the 'Ecology Sector' of the Dicastery for the Service of Integral Human Development: "In 2020, the Vatican invited Catholic institutions to divest fossil fuel from companies given their damage to the environment.”
Kureethadam congratulates “these prophetic institutions” that divest from fossil fuels. At the same time, the Vatican continues with its tax-free petrol stations at full blast. One is directly under Francis’ window.
