Thanks to @Francesco I who researched ACTA APOSTOLICAE SEDIS www.vatican.va/…/dicembre 2010.p… (see page 80) now we know that unfortunately Mr. Kufuor was right in mentioning formal honours he was given by the Holy See.

Thanks to @Francesco I who researched ACTA APOSTOLICAE SEDIS www.vatican.va/…/dicembre 2010.p… (see page 80) now we know that unfortunately Mr. Kufuor was right in mentioning formal honours he was given by the Holy See.
Mr. Kufuor was knighted under Benedict XVI (with the second lowest grade of the highest Vatican chivalric order still currectly awarded) but, as usual, it was the cardinal Secretary of State and his staff who managed that award (that is a diplomatic business). That knighthood can be awarded also to non-Catholics.

I saw this story on @tradcatknight's post from earlier in the week. Is anything objectionable (besides, seemingly, dogged fidelity to the truth) to Pope Francis?

During the interview this old man, a self declared "catholic" AND top ranking mason, tells lies about well known historical facts so I cannot trust him when he tells (without giving us any evidence) that "papal" story.
Never trust a mason when he/she talks about religions and the (oly true) Church in particular!
