No Correction: The blog Anonimi della Croce writes that the four Cardinals Brandmüller, Burke, Caffarra and Meisner, who signed the dubia concerning the contoversial document Amoris Laetitia, have decided not to publish a correction of Pope Francis despite having received no answer from him. According to the blog, they gathered three weeks ago in Rome. The reason for the decision: They did not have enough support from other cardinals.

A Masonic Lodge in the Vatican? The same blog writes that for about 60 years there has existed a masonic lodge in the Vatican, which is affiliated to the Grande Oriente d'Italia. Its members are prelates and lay-people. They call the lodge, "La confraternita" and meet often in the Vatican, in apartments or hotels. According to the blog, the alleged lodge controls the Vatican Bank and organized the assassination attempt on John Paul II.

Lukewarm Catholicism: College campuses that students characterize as, “mostly Catholic” have higher rates of casual sexual encounters than colleges that are both more or less religious, according to Jason King, professor of theology at Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. He concludes that a lukewarm Catholic identity is not a predictor of a better campus culture.
