Francis' 100 Points Question: “What Sense Can There Be In Kneeling Before A Piece of Bread?”
The revelation of God in Christ's humanity can cause scandal and is not easy to accept, Francis said at the August 22 Angelus.
This scandal is well represented by the sacrament of the altar, Francis added and asked the question: "What sense can there be, in the eyes of the world, in kneeling before a piece of bread?”
Francis is answering this questions as he himself NEVER kneels in front of the consecrated host while he has been falling on his knees in front of politicians, homosexuals, prisoners or at an Anglican shrine.
Francis himself says that no one kneels before a piece of bread.
