What is Happening at Medjugorje?
Jesus told us to judge trees by their “fruits.” In Medjugorje, numerous conversions have been reported, Catholics returning to the sacraments after many years, etc.
But the main fruit, and the fruit closest to the heart of the devil, has been disobedience. Original sin came into the world not through lust or greed or murder, but through disobedience; and the redemption took place through the obedience of Jesus (Romans 5:19) and the fiat of his mother.
In Medjugorje, we are confronted with the counterintuitive phenomenon of the Madonna encouraging disobedience to the successors of the Apostles, and disobedience of some Franciscans to Vatican directives.
Other “fruits” include the massacres and mutilations that took place from 1991 to 1992 when, because of the war, three groups involved in the pilgrimage trade, losing business, turned on each other, resulting in an estimated 80-140 deaths and 600 expulsions; and the revocation of faculties or laicization …More

I know tuns of people who had conversions at Medjugorje to only later in life had multiple crises' of faith. One priest in particular that everyone loved always said he had his conversion at Medj. Later in life he was forced to get physiological treatment. Hummmm.....? Also when I attended Ave Maria University, after I told some people there that I didn't believe in Medj. they turned violent towards me and some of these people were studying to one day be priests. The problem with this is it is all emotional. These people go to Medj. and experience an emotional event. Its an outlet for them to let go of their hurts and pains. Just because JP2 liked Medj. doesn't validate the apparitions one bit. Is this the same pope that had a mass in Africa with bare breasted women?! I say lets wait for the church to officially approve it or not. I see some good fruits coming from Medj, however, I see more bad apples in this barrel. I would rather follow the messages from Fatima and Lourdes to be safe, rather than be emotionally tied-up in the broken record of Medj.
PS: Is there any new messages coming out of Medj??? In all the Virgins apparitions She always came with a new incredible message to humanity. Last time I heard from Medj the message was the same that it has been for years "Pray, Pray more"? Whats new about this?! 🤨

For corrections, complaints, frustrations or any other assorted issue with anyone who offers something less than stellar adulation of Medjugorje (as yet, an unapproved Marian apparition), why not contact the author/source of the article itself?

I would recommend a movie to watch in order to understand better what happened in Medjugorje, what were the circumstances - also to know why more than 600 Croatian priest were killed in that era:

Hi John Loughnan.
Thanks for writing back! 🤗
Please forgive me I am little confused if you agree with Medjug. or not? 🙄
I guess wether it is real or not.... I will have to wait until the church makes an official declaration on the matter.

Lol, Mr. Loughnan you wrote A LOT! Seems like people that believe in this apparition need pages upon pages to try and legitimize this event. Why is Medjugorje's message almost the same every time. And why does the virgin keep appearing for years sounding like a broken-record. And why are the seers living secular lives now?! In most apparitions of the virgin She only appeared for a short time and the seer or seers usually became religious. After Vatican 2 the church started adopting sick practices, for some officials in the church to approve Medjugorje doesn't hold much strength to it. I believe Medjugorje is a holy place only because millions are praying there; that doesn't mean the virgin is appearing there. 🤦

Heres a joke:
The virgin Mary said to St. Joseph in the year 2012 lets go on vacation. St. Joseph said where would you like to go? The virgin Mary said some were we have never gone before. St. Joseph said where? We have been a lot of places like, Lourdes France, Knock Ireland, Guadalupe Mexico? The Virgin said I know Medjugorje! 👏 😀More

I have also heard that some of the very first visionaries have gone subsequently gone into the hotel business after they had finished having their visions. Now maybe they were told or called to do this, I don't know, but this makes it seem a little fishy.

It would also be very dicouraging to have a vision go on for so long and be so widely promoted and pronounced that it didn't turn out to be what everyone thought it was. I remember, I think it was in 1996 when the final ruling on Garbandal came out and it didn't go over so well.

I don't know just some thoughts... ✍️
