The Vatican's news-page VaticanNews.va published on March 30 an article entitled “Coronavirus: Earth’s unlikely ally.”
Its author, Jesuit Father Benedict Mayaki, rejoices that the coronavirus lockdown yields “unintended benefits to the planet.”
Among them he lists a positive outcome regarding the fish in Venice, carbon emissions, and pollution, “Earth is healing itself.”
The article makes no reference to problems caused by the coronavirus. It was deleted on March 31 (Screenshot below).
