Leo XIV Praises the Lucrative US Bishops' Business with Migrants: "Closeness, Compassion, Tenderness"

On 4 October, Pope Leo XIV wrote a letter praising the annual meeting of the 'Catholic Charities USA' network, which operates through 168 diocesan agencies (see letter below). He acknowledges that these agencies primarily serve illegal immigrants.

“Through providing food, shelter, medical care, legal assistance, and many other gestures of kindness, Catholic Charities affiliates across the Unites States show what Pope Francis often referred to as God’s ‘style’ of closeness, compassion and tenderness.”

Leo XIV described migrants as "living witnesses of hope" who should be "invited to participate fully in community life".

In January, US Vice President JD Vance asked if the US bishops were more concerned about humanitarian issues or money.

Catholic Charities receives more than 60% of its funding from the government.

In 2023 alone, the national US bishops' agency received around $130 million, totalling approximately $800 million between 2014 and 2023.

Even more money goes via diocesan organisations.

The largest recipient was Catholic Charities Fort Worth in Texas, which received an astonishing $270 million in 2023 alone.

In February, ComplicitClergy.com reported that Catholic Charities, as a group of 168 entities, received approximately $2.9 billion of federal funding for immigration-related services during the Biden administration (2021–2024).

It just struck me that this is a picture of 100 men with their butts in the air.

I wonder if CO2 gases are stronger in areas where this paganism is tolerated in public?

Dilexit te, No. 15: "Christians too, on a number of occasions, have succumbed to attitudes shaped by secular ideologies or political and economic approaches that lead to gross generalizations and mistaken conclusions. The fact that some dismiss or ridicule charitable works, as if they were an obsession on the part of a few and not the burning heart of the Church’s mission, convinces me of the need to go back and re-read the Gospel, lest we risk replacing it with the wisdom of this world. The poor cannot be neglected if we are to remain within the great current of the Church’s life that has its source in the Gospel and bears fruit in every time and place."

The odor downwind of that scene must be atrocious.

Pope Leo was put in place to counteract Trump and the cleaning up of deep state/globalists. Look how he is being used by libs and C.I.N.O.s: “Even the pope is against Trump’s policies.”
