Bishops Request USCCB Study After Transgender Hermit Announcement
That someone with gender dysphoria wants to dedicate his or her life to prayer and penance as a hermit is a good thing. What the Church cannot do is ratify falsehood. A woman with two X chromosomes is not a man, it would be participation in the sin of another to confirm a lie. Hopefully a life of prayer will help Nicole reconcile with her true self.

Resources are limited, everything has a cost. Taxpayers pay for government and public services. Are they obligated to pay for services demanded by people who force their way into that jurisdiction ? Is it always an emergency situation where theft is tolerated?
