He says, he received a “baptism of the Holy Spirit” in 2010, which “completely transformed” his life. He left the Legion in 2013 and joined Fréjus-Toulon Diocese where in 2017 he founded his group with five young people. Now, Coelho has begun a relationship with a 26-year-old woman from Barcelona, whom he considers “a mystical incarnation of the Holy Spirit”, according to Father Valentin Gögele, a regional superior of the Legion who has collaborated with Coelho’s group.
