Bach - Concerto in A minor BWV 1065 | Netherlands Bach Society
Bach arranged various Vivaldi concertos for organ and harpsichord. The Concerto in A minor, performed by Siebe Henstra, Menno van Delft, Pieter-Jan Belder and Tineke Steenbrink for All of Bach, is largely based on Vivaldi's Concerto in B minor for four violins and orchestra. But of course, he gave it an exciting twist, as in Bach’s version the soloists play harpsichords and B minor changed to A minor.
Recorded for the project All of Bach on April 16th 2016 at Ottone, Utrecht. If you want to help us complete All of Bach, please subscribe to our channel youtube.com/channel/UC2kF6qdHRTM_hDYfEmzkS9w or consider donating Support us – Bach.

Santa Maria de Montserrat Abbey | Catalonia | Spain | Virgin of Montserrat | Feast Day: April 27
Our Lady of Montserrat or the Virgin of Montserrat (Catalan: Mare de Déu de Montserrat) is a Marian title associated with a statue of the Madonna and Child venerated at the Santa Maria de Montserrat monastery on Montserrat mountain in Catalonia, Spain. She is the patroness saint of Catalonia, an honour she shares with Saint George (Sant Jordi in Catalan). Miracles have been attributed to the statue.
Pope Leo XIII granted the image a canonical coronation on 11 September 1881. The image is one of the Black Madonnas of Europe, hence its familiar Catalan name, La Moreneta ("the little dark-skinned one" or "the little dark one"). Believed by some to have been carved in Jerusalem in the early days of the Church, it is more likely a Romanesque sculpture in wood from the late 12th century.
An 18th-century polychromed statue of the same image is also displayed in Saint Peter's basilica …More

VIA LUCIS: The Way of Light | Reflecting on the Resurrection of Jesus
The Via Lucis, or the "Way of Light" in Latin, is a Catholic devotion also known as the Stations of the Resurrection. In these Stations, we meditate on Christ's Resurrection and the incredible events that followed, until He sent the Holy Spirit to us at Pentecost. The Stations of the Resurrection emphasize the glory, hope, and certitude of our redemption, the most central event in our Christian faith. As with the Stations of the Cross, different versions exist. Some include only readings or meditations for each Station, and some take the form of a Scripture reading, a short meditation, and a prayer. CATHOLIC REFLECTION wishes you and yours a most joyous Easter in celebration of our Risen Lord and Savior.
