An international company specialising in artificial insemination of pigs has accepted run-away Solsona Bishop Xavier Novell as an agricultural engineer.
Before becoming a priest, Novell obtained a degree in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Lérida (1987-1990).
GerminansGerminabit.Blogspot.com (November 2) confirms that Novell’s future wife is pregnant with twins. Novell’s new profession is promising and very well paid. However, he will need to get used to regular work, a habit, which most bishops and priests have never acquired.

Heartbreakingly sad.....for what? May God hold us all firmly in His merciful hands. "We have only this life to prove our love for Him.." (Saint Therese).
And may this Bishop -- whose soul is certainly still precious in the sight of God -- one day return to the glory of his sarcedotal vocation, even if it's in a secluded monastery somewhere, where God can become his "All"....

That was exceptionally well-written, @Ave Crux What this also shows in a purely temporal sense, is the declining standards within The Church Herself. A shortage of priests is forcing hasty acceptance of unclear vocations and, subsequently, equally hasty appointments to higher office -with predictable results. At this rate, The Church will eventually see 35 year old "Cardinals" behaving the same.

When my grandparents settled into USA... one grandfather took a job at a dairy. His wife (my grandmother) took another wrapping butter. Both my grandfathers held illustrious roles in their industry.
One grandfather drove a truck transporting the results of many bovines to nearby farms
The other grandfather had a very long glove as part of his equipment in assisting in bovine reproduction.

All my grandparents were religious and generous. They were also quite discerning of what flew around the news and gossip.
I am proud to be their grandchild... and carry on a similarly undesirable role in technology industry. I hope to have my grandchildren continue the family tradition of hard work, caring for others, and having discerning tendencies. (it wouldn't hurt if they have less dubious roles... but...)
Honor is not found in your job, but how you do it and your faith.

Right up his alley.
The twins can be infant baptized without their parents' (dispensation) marriage ?

Yes, they can. The Church does not jeopardize the salvation of souls due to the sins of parents.
