Rupnik Investigation: Men Also Among Those Affected
The Jesuit investigation into Father Marko Rupnik has concluded that he did indeed seduce more than a dozen sisters into fornication.
He has now been banned from any artistic activity. A January 21 Jesuits press release said that Rupnik’s victims were both women and men. The incidents occured at different times over a period of more than thirty years (1985-2018).
Rupnik did not cooperate with the Jesuits' investigation, but has been informed of the nature of the allegations and of possible disciplinary action. He is unlikely to face civil proceedings.
The fact that Francis quickly lifted Rupnik's excommunication in May 2020 is still being hushed up.
