Jean Reinhart, the lawyer of former Paris Archbishop Michel Aupetit has accused the oligarch outlet ParisMatch.com of “slanderous and nauseating methods.”
In a December 8 release, Reinhart referred to a ParisMatch.com article entitled "Monseigneur Aupetit perdu par amour" (Bishop Aupetit lost in love) showing two photos taken a few days ago with a telephoto lens on leaving a restaurant and during a walk in the forest.
They show Aupetit with Laetitia Calmeyn, a young consecrated virgin who is teaching at the Collège de Bernardin, a Catholic Academy. Nothing in the pictures suggests that the meeting was unbecoming.
ParisMatch.com claims that Aupetit “lied” to Francis and suggested that he was having a “relationship with a woman.”
Aupetit “strongly denies these false allegations” and “vigorously deplores the malicious insinuations” they contain. Reinhart is examining legal proceedings against ParisMatch.com.

@Roberto 55 Not funny, sort of!
Sorry, women shouldn't be spending time alone with Priests for social reasons or companionship; and the occasion for public/published scandal it gives -- as proven here -- is just one of the reasons; aside from emotional entrapment and other dangers.
I have been told by a deacon I know that this was highly stressed in his seminary training: "Never be alone with a woman..."

Much less....a consecrated virgin, whose vowed love for Christ would preclude time spent alone in such friendships. Original Sin doesn't exist anymore? It is precisely when we let down our guard and think there is no danger that satan shoots his fiery darts....
