Archdiocese Turns Latin Mass Church Into Restaurant
The old Jesuit church in Veszprém, Hungary, was unused when the Society of PiusX began celebrating Mass there in 2021.
But within a few months, Veszprém Archbishop György Udvardy, 63, forbade the Mass and left the church unused again. Last week, it was recycled as a restaurant for the Balaton Wine and Gourmet Festival (September 21-24).
An announcement praised “the breathtaking interior of the former Jesuit church” and announced "guided tastings" and "gourmet experiences by national and international chefs for gourmets."

I don't know how Udvardy will explain how a schnitzel trumps the Lord's blessed meal when the time comes to do so. May God have mercy upon him for his poor shepherding.
These sort of scenes pierce the heart! Most of Italy's sublime Churches have been turned into bed and breakfasts for the invading "oh so poor migrants, who come off the Soros-or Davos organized boats, holding their 'smart phones, IPhones', purposely to "populate" Christian Europe and turn it into the type of "universal synodality" that apostate Bergoglio is working for, with all his eagerness to dissolve the Catholic Church.
Why did the SSPX leave it? Hopefully not because they obeyed the Bishop. Ignore the bishop and his dictates. If the SSPX owned it, and they owe nothing to this Bishop, they should have kept it.
It doesn't matter though, because no one really goes to the Novus Ordo he's trying to promote by forbidding the one Mass people do go to. The joke's on him.
