The organizing committee of the Paris 2024 Olympics was forced to issue a half-hearted apology after mocking the Last Supper during the opening ceremony that sparked widespread outrage.
"Clearly, there was never an intention to show disrespect to any religious group. The opening ceremony tried to celebrate community tolerance," the Paris 2024 spokesperson Anne Descamps defended the blasphemy at a press conference on Sunday.
Contrary to the facts she added that "we believe this ambition was achieved. If people have taken any offence we are really sorry."
On Saturday, the committee removed the opening ceremony from Youtube.com.
Thomas Jolly, 42, a Jewish homosexual and the artistic director behind the blasphemy, claimed that religious subversion had never been his intention: "We wanted to talk about diversity [= regime ideology]. Diversity means being together. We wanted to include everyone [except Christians], as simple as that," he justified himself on Saturday.

These Cardinals should just resign, but not before they have publicly asked forgiveness to the Good Lord, on their 'whithered' knees... !! It's appalling how most bishops and cardinals, with their warped minds, go against John Paul II, Benedict XVI, for being 'modernists'. Nothing like what is happening now would have happen with those (really elected) Popes. And these 'dubia' cardinals, what do they call themselves? Accomplices of Bergoglio and Tucho and the 'organization' that they are serving, the same one that Monsier Macron (Mac -Ca- Ron) is working for.
A spokeswoman said "Clearly there was no intention to show disrespect to any religious group." How could that possibly be "clear"? And she couldn't even mention Catholic or Christian - as though the backlash was just some vague, unwarranted response.
