Indianapolis Archbishop Charles Thompson, 58, stopped drive-thru confessions in his diocese.
Father Dan Bedel had introduced such confessions on the parking lot of his two churches. He sat in his pickup while parishioners drove next to him cracking the window to confess.
However, after only 15 confessions on two days, Bedel had to stop on Tuesday, he told media.
The archbishop deemed it to be "too high a risk" for contamination with the coronavirus.

Maybe the good bishop forgot about General Absolution ? 😴

As indicated in the 1973 decree, legitimate, grave circumstances may arise which may impede private confession and necessitate the granting of general absolution. Such a circumstance would arise in a time of crisis, danger, or imminent death, and a sufficient number of confessors are not available to hear individual confessions within a reasonable period of time. Consequently the penitents, through no fault of their own, would be deprived of the sacramental grace of Penance or Holy Communion for a long period of time, and their souls are at risk.

If Bergoglio releases the entire New Testament Church right now, and resigns without doing any more harm - then perhaps the final Chastisement of "The 3 days of darkness" may be not so much his fault as it is likely to be if he continues treating Christ's Bride as his own private concern with absolutely NO respect for Christ OR the Traditional RC Church.

Also interesting. This evil plague is taking place prior to Easter, ie during Lent.

The affiliation of the date of Easter (Pascha) has never deviated within the RC Church from coinciding with the exact date of the Jewish Passover. for, what the Passover lamb symbolically foreshadowed in the days of the Old Testament, the TRUE Sacrifice (Jesus) the Lamb of God fulfill eternally. So, on this April 10, (Good Friday) not only are several Jews intending to slaughter and eat their Passover Lamb, but we, as we have from the 1st Century, will be preparing for the death of OUR Passover Lamb on the Cross as atonement for our sins (For He is the Sacrificial Lamb - our sin offering eternally as well)
, (according to St Justin Martyr, the Jewish Passover lamb was Crucified on two sticks of wood - he trained under St John the Evangelist, so he should know)

All Scripture is continual, and so that date fixed in the Hebrew Scriptures for the slaughter of the Passover Lamb needs to be eternally celebrated on the same date, and not just erroneously thought to be just a set day to commemorate the death of Christ. That is why (Dr Taylor Marshall) nobody must ever alter the date of Easter, even though, the Orthodox have tampered with Tradition in removing it's relevance to the Jewish Passover. I think it is included within the writings of St Bede that in mentioning the controversy over the dates of the Easter celebrations, he mentions that there is evidence to say that St John was known to have told one of his students that the time of Easter Celebrations must ALWAYS be on the same day as the date set by God to be the date of the Jewish Passover, since Christ IS our Paschal Lamb and evermore shall be referred to as such.

For that sake, Easter Celebrations must ALWAYS take place at the time allotted by God in the Old Testament as the feast set apart for the Sacrifice of the Passover Lamb. We are due to Our Lord's Sacrifice, protected by the painting of His Precious Blood upon the Lintels of Our Hearts from spiritual death.

All I can say, is God help Jorge around the time of Passover/Easter if his sins are not repented and his crimes against the Bride of Christ do not lead to his full renunciation of the Papacy. A position that he accepted, without ever meaning to serve Christ to the fullest of his ability.

[13] And the Lord said to Moses: Arise in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh and thou shalt say to him: Thus saith the Lord the God of the Hebrews: Let my people go to sacrifice to me. [14] For I will at this time send all my plagues upon thy heart, and upon thy servants, and upon thy people: that thou mayst know there is none like me in all the earth. [15] For now I will stretch out my hand to strike thee, and thy people with pestilence, and thou shalt perish from the earth..........."

Jorge LET CHRIST'S PEOPLE GO!

This discussion by Dr Brant Pitre is a stunning discussion on the role of Christ as Lamb of Atonement,
Bread of the Presence (found in the Hebrew Temple in Jerusalem and in the Mosaic Tabernacles,) and
as Our Passover Lamb.

I fear when "shut down" passes many will blame the Church as opposed to those that have the keys to the buildings. Perhaps this is a needed wake up call in many that have become comfortable ( and even demanding) with the abuses and novelties introduced into the practice and understanding of the faith since the 50's. According to the World Health Organization, accommodations could easily be made , especially to extreme situations such as this. The Bishop is severely lacking in his " pastoral accompaniment " and dedication to his duty as Shepherd.

How does COVID-19 spread?

People can catch COVID-19 from others who have the virus. The disease can spread from person to person through small droplets from the nose or mouth which are spread when a person with COVID-19 coughs or exhales. These droplets land on objects and surfaces around the person. Other people then catch COVID-19 by touching these objects or surfaces, then touching their eyes, nose or mouth. People can also catch COVID-19 if they breathe in droplets from a person with COVID-19 who coughs out or exhales droplets. This is why it is important to stay more than 1 meter (3 feet) away from a person who is sick.

Another Church official dropping his mask. I wonder if any of these Church leaders realize people are still shopping and running errands without catching this thing. I'm sure they do, they're just basking in a world where Catholics have no access to these sacraments.

This is a mockery. What a sick joke.
