Pope Francis sent a hand-signed enthusiastic letter to the Synod of the Methodists and the Waldensian Evangelical Church who is presently gathered in Torre Pellice, Italy. In the letter Francis expresses his hope for a "full union" with the Waldensians which he believes has already happened in the eyes of Christ: "The Good Shepherd wants us to walk together and his gaze already embraces all of us, his disciples, whom He wants to see fully united."
The Waldensians bless homosexual pseudo-marriages, oppose religious symbols in public spaces, are in favor of gay ideology, contraception, abortion, euthanasia, assisted suicide and stem cell research. They interpret the Bible in a relativistic way against its wording, in order to make it say, what they want to hear. Accordingly, the Waldensians are on the brink of extinction.
