Francis Wanted to Become a Butcher

“The other Popes were saints, I am not so much a saint," Francis told Fabio Fazio, the Italian Pope of Anti-Catholicism on February 6.

Francis added that “I need friends, that's why I live in Santa Marta, this hotel where I can meet so many people, talk to everyone." In reality, “everyone” is a euphemism. "Friendships give me strength, I need friends, they are few but true,” he explained.

When asked by Pope Fazio if he had ever danced the tango, Francis replied: “A porteño [inhabitant of Buenos Aires] who does not dance the tango is not a porteño.”

Francis also remembered his childhood: “When I was a child, I wanted to be a butcher. When I went shopping with my mother and grandmother, I saw that everyone paid the butcher. When they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I would say: A butcher, because he has a lot of money.”

He explained this as the Genoese spirit that he had inherited from his mother while “the Piedmontese [his father’s side] are also a bit attached to money, but they conceal it.” He also said that “throwing plastic into the sea is criminal.”

To be a butcher. Wouldn't that job be antithetical to Bergolglio’s climate change mantra. After all, cows produce methane and contribute to greenhouse gases?

I think he really is seriously ill. He was so desperate at the end asking people to pray for himself, multiple times he asked it. And he said "if you don't know how to pray,just send good thoughts". I think he's going to pass....and he knows it.

I don't know, maybe it's just me, but his face and expression looks different. Even the way he's slumpted in the chair. I don't think this man actually is well. All the gossip and rumors that have been posted here and there about he being very seriously ill. Looking at his face, I don't doubt it. I feel sorry for anyone ill. But I do believe that Bergoglio is seriosuly ill, and won't be around for …More
