While the situation in the US is very tenuous, I, for one, am thankful that we have a form of government that is still able to protect people’s rights. The rest of the Western democracies, which are mostly corrupted monarchies, are swiftly becoming dictatorships. We are not immune to this, but we still have hope, though we must defend our rights, by every available means.
