Vatican Archbishop, Move On From The Ban On Contraception

Pro-Gay Archbishop Vincenzo Paglia, the president of the Pontifical Academy for Life, has suggested to “re-read” [meaning: abrogate] the encyclical Humanae Vitae (1968) in the light of issues like genetic modification.

According to The Tablet (April 11), Paglia wants to move the focus away from the question whether married couples may use artificial contraception, “We have to widen the horizon.”

Paglia admitted that Paul VI's focus was on contraception but he believes that today this question has become "secondary.”

The birthrate of all [decadent] Western countries has reached a level that puts in question the future of these populations.

Was Vinnie ever disciplined for commissioning such a scandalous mural in the church of his diocese in Umbria, located in central Italy? After demonstrating such an incredible lack of sound judgement and good sense, this Archbishop would NEVER be awarded a more prestigious position in the Church...would he?

In August of last year (2016) Pope Francis moved Paglia from the Pontifical Council for the Family to the presidency of the Pontifical Academy for Life, as well as of the Pontifical Pope John Paul II Institute for Studies on Marriage and Family, two organizations founded by Pope St. John Paul II to defend the sanctity of human life and family values.
