German Synodal Way: Women Serving Communion To "Bishops"

Munich Cardinal Reinhard Marx opened his Synodal Way on January 30 by presiding a Protestant Style Eucharist.

Most of the attending bishops and priests sat in street clothes and coats in the pews.

Among them were the bishops Ackermann (Trier), Schick (Bamberg), Feige (Magdeburg), Fürst (Stuttgart), Bode (Osnabrück) - all of them anti-Catholic hardliners.

Marx distributed communion. At his side were a woman in red coat and a nun in black serving the chalice to the audience, including bishops and priests (video below).
