Induction Mass For French Bishop: Desaster During Distribution of Communion (Video)

Paris Auxiliary Bishop Denis Jachiet, 59, was installed as the new Bishop of Belfort-Montbéliard, France, on November 14.

The live-streamed Mass in Belfort Cathedral showed how Jachiet was handing out Communion. One man took Communion with only one hand and left without consuming it.

The next man tried to grasp Communion but it fell on the floor. The floor was not purified. Belfort diocese - at the border with Switzerland - was created in 1979. It had only 56 priests in 2020.
