Imagine A Bishop: Kissing Boy On Lips, Asking To “Suck His Tongue”

Tenzin Gyatso, 87, known as Dalai Lama, apologised on April 10 after a video (below) went viral showing him kissing a boy on the lips and then asking him to “suck my tongue.”

The scene happened at a February 28 event in Dharamshala, northern India, with the M3M Foundation, the philanthropic arm of an Indian real estate company.

The Dalai Lama apologised for the hurt “his words” may have caused, adding he regrets the “incident.” The statement explained that he “often teases people he meets in an innocent and playful way, even in public and before cameras.”

Delhi-based child rights group “Haq: Center for Child Rights” said that this video is "not about any cultural expression and even if it is, such cultural expressions are not acceptable.”
