Journalists accusing him in context of the Ukraine war are falling into “disinformation, slander, defamation, and coprophilia,” Francis wrote in an April 7 letter to the Argentine TV journalist Gustavo Sylvestre (GustavoSylvestre.com).
Coprophilia, not a commonly know or used term, denotes sexual pleasure from feces. Sylvestre had written to Francis, expressing his support.
CruxNow.com recalled that Francis used the term already in a 2016 Tertio.be interview when saying that the [oligarchs'] media should not fall prey “to the sickness of coprophilia, which is always wanting to communicate scandal, to communicate ugly things, even though they may be true.”
