69% of the US "Catholics" deny the transubstantiation of bread and wine into Christ's Body and Blood during Mass.
They understand Holy Communion in a merely symbolic way, the Pew Research Center found (August 5).
In addition, 43% of Catholics have never heard about the doctrine of transubstantiation and believe that their symbolic understanding is also the Church's position.
Even among Catholics who attend Mass every Sunday, 37% don’t believe in transubstantiation. 23% of them do not even know that this teaching exists.
Among Catholics under age forty, only 26% believe in transubstantiation.

Catholics who receive Holy Communion without believing in the Real presence of Christ commit sacrilege.

To deny the substance of the Eucharist is to precipitate oneself into excommunication

If anyone denies that in the sacrament of the most holy Eucharist there are truly, really, and substantially contained the body and blood together with the soul and divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ, and therefore the whole Christ, but shall say that He is in it as by a sign or figure, or force, let him be anatema. […] If anyone moreover teaches the contrary or preaches or obstinately asserts, or even publicly by disputation shall presume to defend the contrary, by that fact itself he is excommunicated. (Denzinger-Hunermann 1651, Council of Trent, Session XIII, Decree on the Sacrament of the Eucharist, October 11, 1551)

Thank you all the heretic theologians, priests, and bishops who dismantled the sacred liturgy. This disqualifies all those post consiliar popes who are being fast-tracked to "sainthood". Satan went right at the heart of Catholicism. No pope or hierarchy had the authority to abolish the Latin Rite. VII ignored most of what was codified by previous councils and invented a new religion.

Lord God forgive us and get rid of these apostates in robes who kill the faith.

Actions proceed beliefs. This is why the traditional liturgy is so important.

Ironically, they are probably correct in most cases. With a novus ordo mass, celebrated by a novus ordo priest who was ordained by a novus ordo bishop there are three very serious doubts about validity.

Not surprising in novus ordo church with novus ordo mass.

Parishes in our area are now attempting to create catechesis programs that include the whole family.
