Chicago Mayor, A Non Catholic Lesbian, Takes Communion (Video)

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot , 59, picked up Communion at the funeral Eucharist for policewoman Ella French (+29) who died after exchanging gunfire following a traffic stop.

Lightfoot, a black Democrat who pushes for defunding the police, is a Non-Catholic and self-declared Lesbian. Chicago saw 769 homicides in 2020 alone.

The service was presided by Cardinal Blase Cupich. French's mother, Lightfoot and others delivered emotional speeches. Cupich left it to co-presiding priests to hand out [sacrilegious] Communion.

Lightfoot is a Founding Trustee at Christ the King Jesuit High School in Chicago, and a member of St. James African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church.

That isn't how "apostasy" works, @la mentira prevalece . This isn't how the The Church should work, either, for that matter. Gollum wasn't Catholic and he looked bad enough with stringy hair. This... this is far worse.

Blase Cupich is an apostate and gay activist who in rebellion against God and in defiance against the teachings of the Church has several times publicly stated that he would give (sacrilegious) 'communion' to the sodomites. To continue calling this apostate Cardinal when he is a public apostate and a formal and manifest heretic is already a grave blasphemy that perpetuates that this murderer of souls remain in power. For example, not only is a psychopath who pretends to be a priest responsible, but also a faithful who knows that he is a psychopath and follows the flow, paying him honors so that he continues to drag more souls to hell. That such has become his accomplice and is promoting the reign of the antichrist.
That is why the Book of Revelation warns that who is the one who gives power to the Beast. The Magisterium of the Church excommunicates Catholics who support heretics who have publicly deviated from the Catholic Faith.
It is time for Catholic brothers to wake up and call by name these apostates who believe they have the right to do whatever they want without rendering an account to anyone and who believe that they are above God and the Laws and teaching of Church.

Actually, it is a superb example of why unworthy people are willing to receive Communion (and why a celebrant is willing to give it). According to 1 Cor 11:29 it happens because they don't recognize that the Body of Christ is present:
qui enim manducat et bibit indigne iudicium sibi
manducat et bibit non diiudicans corpus Domini

I wonder if the priest explained that Holy Communion should only be received by Catholics not in a state of mortal sin?

If he did, Cupich would have reassigned him to a parish on skid row.

Look for Cupich to make sure that the cameras are not allowed to televise the distribution of Holy Communion at masses with important secular figures in attendance in the future. O’Malley did this in Boston after the 2004 scandal centered around John Kerry. O’Malley did this in Boston after the 2004 scandal centered around John Kerry. They justify this, erroneously, by contending that receiving communion is, essentially, a private act, which it is not, of course. At some point, they will be proud to show this sacrilege. Maybe Cupich already is.

I'm pretty sure Cupich is happy to show that he permitted a non-Catholic to receive Holy Communion. He can do it with Francis' blessing.
