The future belongs to orthodox religion, Cardinal Willem Jacobus Eijk told Paix-Liturgique.com (March 24).
"Religions that adapt to culture and time lose themselves, and then their followers," Eijk’s learned from experience.
“Parishes that have a strong identity and a solemn Sunday liturgy have the most appeal. We see families there, young people.”
Ejik admits that the Traditional Latin Mass attracts young faithful.
He believes that the Old Liturgy “will have a role in the future of the Church.”
“Latin is indispensable as a liturgical language, even in the ordinary form of the liturgy.
