Father Antoine Coelho, the founder of the House of the Holy Spirit, a charismatic fraternity, and a YouTube star, is on his way out.
Coelho was ordained for the Legion of Christ in 2008. He says, he received a “baptism of the Holy Spirit” in 2010, which “completely transformed” his life.
He left the Legion in 2013 and joined Fréjus-Toulon Diocese where in 2017 he founded his group with five young people.
Now, Coelho has begun a relationship with a 26-year-old woman from Barcelona, whom he considers “a mystical incarnation of the Holy Spirit”, according to Father Valentin Gögele, a regional superior of the Legion who has collaborated with Coelho’s group.
Mimicking Francis’ clichés, Coelho told AlfaYOmega.es (January 27) that “the Holy Spirit loves to scandalise”, that he is “eminently creative”, that “humanity has changed,” that “we are in a new era” which is “marked by falling in love” and that “we need to live the faith in a different way” and “not as vertically as in the past.”

They know they should stay strong in prayer (even if they omit to act accordingly); they know lectio divina, and meditation. But what about firmly avoiding promiscuity (the opposite sex), fasting (not just partial abstinence of food or meat), doing penance, practicing mortification?

Personally, maybe I would not be chaste if I was not practicing very simple and accessible mortifications. There's a link between the sin of the flesh and heresies (Galatians 5:19-21). Just remember Martin Luther, Urbain Grandier etc. Once they fell into impure sins, they try to theologically justify their depraved deeds.

How many disasters could have been avoided if only they had known.
