I have no intention of taking any of them.
;-) I was just sharing a
legal loophole in Father's internet post. We should, whenever possible, obey our priests and defer to their wishes. However, in this case, it is entirely possible to obey the
letter of Father's demand while mentally throwing a a defiant middle finger at what he
meant.
Even if Father asked, "Have
you been vaccinated, before God?" I could say, truthfully, "Yes Father, I have. Before God." If he
assumes that means
for Covid and doesn't
ask, that's not my problem.
:DI was vaccinated for measels, mumps, rubella, and polio. The usual "list" for school (way back when). So I
have been vaccinated. Most people have and thus we can go to Father's church while still deferring to his wishes. If Father wants to be a
jerk about this, and it's obvious he
does, then... as I've said before,
I give what I get.Even Christ said in
Matthew 7:12 "So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets."What that means for Father here is there are "Two-Way Traffic" signs on Jerk Avenue and he'd better look both ways when crossing the street. Nobody, and I mean
nobody, stops at the pedestrian cross-walk.
:D
