Burke Denies: No Letter

By now, there is no doubt that Francis has informed the Curia Cardinals on November 20 to take away Cardinal Burke's pension and apartment.

Later, Franco Bechis on Open.online and independently PillarCatholic.com both claimed that Burke had been officially informed of this injustice and was looking for alternative accommodation in Rome.

But now "sources close to the Cardinal" [= Burke himself] have told LaNuovaBq.it (December 5) that both of this claims are false.

PillarCatholic.com claims that it doesn't publish unverified rumours. This would mean that it was fooled by deceitful prelates who are in a hurry to see Burke evicted.

Who, pray tell, are these anonymous so-called sources described as “close to” the Cardinal, and why should we take their word as verified conformation of what has actually occurred? We need to know much, much more about these alleged “sources” and the depth and intimacy of their connection to His Eminence before we can ascribe any value to the veracity of their statements. Otherwise it would just be prudent to simply continue to acknowledge what has been reported via The Pillar, who has a proven track record of accuracy in matters such as these, even when — or especially when — they concern the affairs that transpire among the highest echelons of Holy Mother Church.

Who should we believe, the report from PillarCatholic.com, or that apparently from Burke? Knowing what a good, loyal, faithful man he is, may be Burke is just saying that to cover for the tyranny and unjust persecution of the Bergoglian homo regime, while he actually is being forced out to find a new appartment.

Another possibility is that Francis likes to do these acts as a fiat accompli. I recall that Frank Pavone's laicization was done without his knowlege - he only learned of it from the media! In other words, Francis doesn't even have the guts/decency to tell the guy first.
