Rigidity and Prohibitions: Will Francis Produce Another Traditionis Custodes Enforcement Document?

US bishops have been told that a second Traditionis Custodes enforcement document is coming, perhaps in the spring, Peter Kwasniewski has learned (Facebook.com, 15 December).

Kwasniewski notes that many US bishops are currently busy fighting the Mass.

In La Crosse, Wisconsin - Cardinal Burke's former diocese - three diocesan Masses and all other sacraments have been banned. As of 2023, Mass will only be celebrated at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Previously, local clergy had trusted that this would not happen.

In Missouri, a bishop [Springfield-Cape Bishop Edward Rice] who had assured the faithful that "nothing would change" suddenly announced that their Mass would be moved to a location outside the parish and all other sacraments would be banned.

Sorry, I called him what he is. But I won't post that kind of words again.

I don't know about anyone else, but if SOB Francis issues another Traditionis Custodes and his toady USA bishops cancel the Roman Rite, and if the Vatican goes after all the trad Orders which are the only ones in the Church that are doing well vocations wise, I ain't going back to the worthless Novus Ordo. I suggest and hope millions leave the Church, and head for the SSPX, or sedevacantist groups …More

I suggest and hope millions leave the Church, and head for the SSPX, or sedevacantist groups which are more CAtholic than Francis and his Vatican anyway. Or, go to the Greek Orthodox. Last resort , watch Jimmy Swaggart on TV on SonLife Cable channel. We get it at home. I watched it 2-3x, and was surprised that the sermons speak of Jesus. Francis' sermons speak of migrants, Ukraine, and homosexuals.

@Kenjiro M. Yoshimori I'm pretty sick of the state of things also. I read this article recently, as I consider possible future options. St. Vincent Ferrer on Una Cum and the Divided Papacy

@Kenjiro M. Yoshimori I agree with your encouragement regarding going sede or SSPX, not to join the Eastern schismatics who approve divorce and remarriage (adultery) and birth control.

This will simply result in an ever increasing number of Catholics to leave. The numbers decline in Americans who have left Gordo is staggering. Mass attendance is down to 23% of Catholics in the US.

That report from LifeSite about declining USA Mass attendance under Francis is nearly 5 years ago. It's much worse today. In my Philly Archdiocese, in 1955 Mass attendance was at 90% for Sundays. It declined to about 40% at the beginning of JPII's term, dropped still further to about 25% at the end of his papacy. Surprisingly. attendance went up to about 32% under Pope Benedict XVI, but now has …More

Note that I wrote Sunday Mass attendance is now 23%. LifeSite was cited only as an authority of the pending decline. When I first started praying the Mass for parishoners where I was assigned back in 1959 there were 7 Sunday Masses, many times to overcrowding. Then came Montini and his dialogue Mass, then guitar Mass, then women giving parishoners Communion in the hand, then a pause with Karol …More

Did Rome actually think the faithful would buy into this filth?

@Lisi Sterndorfer Thank you for sharing the full post from Dr. Kwasniewski.
I'm sure that another TC is coming because Francis isn't just making "changes" here and there for the sake of "unity". He is attempting to destroy Holy Mother Church and, at the same time, build up a new false church. Our Lady of La Salette said that "...Rome will become the seat of Antichrist."
Kenjiro M. Yoshimori
That is what Francis is, the "Anti-Christ". And any Catholics, including nuns in long habits who pretend to be traditional like the Dominicans of Nashville, and of Mary, and others who yet swoon in extacy over every word uttered by the "Holy Father", are just as bad, and lead faithful Catholics likewise into error.

In the end, the whole thing is just a powergrab, a way of letting the bishops know, "Do what we order, or we'll stomp on you like a bug. Because: Synodality

This thankfully still sounds vague. That a meeting with the nuncio allowed for pressuring of a few lukewarm bishops doesn't seem like anything new.
Been nearly 4 weeks though since the meeting. Only a very few did this stuff so far it seems.
Will Francis even make it to the spring?
What would an enforcement document look like though? I mean... unless he finally changes canon law??????More

@John Fritz LoganΒ : You ask "Will Francis even make it to the spring?" Million of faithful Catholics hope not.
