On 3 February Tucho Fernández published a 12-page text entitled "Gestis verbisque" on the validity of the sacraments in the Novus Ordo.
It affirms that the words and elements established in the essential rite of each sacrament cannot be changed, because such changes render the sacrament invalid. The text doesn't contain specifics about individual sacraments.
According to Tucho Fernández, the text is being published because "liturgical celebrations, especially those of the sacraments, are not always carried out in full fidelity to the rites prescribed by the Church".
"On several occasions, this Dicastery has intervened to resolve doubts about the validity of sacraments celebrated according to the Roman Rite [= Novus Ordo] in disregard of liturgical norms, sometimes having to conclude with a painful negative response, noting in these cases that the faithful have been deprived of what is due to them," Fernández wrote.

Faithful, DO NOT MISS THE POINT
1. He says other than approved = invalid
2. He and Bergolio "approved" their novus ordo as the ONLY expression of the "Roman Rite"
3. Ergo, this is pretext to invalidate anything else
4. Ergo, they are coming for your TRIDENTINES - "invalid".
5. This is called pretext.More

Why hasn't this document (which will be ignored anyway) been published by the Dicastery for Sacraments and Divine Worship? Why has the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith become involved? Is it a distraction to try and please the novus ordo 'conservatives' and take the spotlight away from other issues?

Many, many parish priests tinker with the novus ordo liturgy and 'ad lib' so does this mean that all these Masses are invalid? For those who attend the novus ordo - I don't anymore and haven't for many years - how are the laity to discern which are valid Masses and which aren't? It's a nightmare, and is another argument in favour of restoring the traditional Latin Mass, because the novus ordo so easily lends itself to 'ad libbing' and 'gimmicks' whereas the traditional Mass doesn't.

@English Catholic Absolutely…yes, it is most certainly a distraction. It’s a manipulative move enacted as a Red Herring, that Fernández hopes will serve to placate and quieten conservatives and others who oppose him and his evil antics. It’s a manipulative move enacted as a Red Herring, that Fernández hopes will serve to placate and quieten conservatives and others who oppose him and his evil antics. That is why it was not drafted and promulgated by the proper and appropriate ecclesial authority for such things: the Dicastery for Sacraments and Divine Worship. Kissy himself concocted it as a fiendishly machiavellian tactic to draw attention away from the world-spanning resistance to his blasphemous sodomy blessing Declaration and the universal reaction of nauseated disgust to his sick, degenerate pornographic books. As I said in my earlier comment on this post, in his warped and demented mind, he sees this as “throwing peanuts to the zoo monkeys” or “red meat to a pack of dogs.” In other words, giving his detractors something that will soothe over the feathers he’s ruffled — a “peace offering” of sorts that will make up for his prior errors. By issuing this false document he wants to demonstrate and prove that he’s not an “enemy” to conservatives or to those who are more traditional. But the true Faithful are not so easily bamboozled, at least not when we’re forewarned of Satan’s diabolical devices.

@Ivan Tomas The Vatican apparatchiks have politicized the Faith - a necessity required to put into place the "Ideology of Man." The canonizations of all the Conciliar Popes - in order to "canonize" Vatican II - was the work of nefarious cretins.
