Emeritus Bishop Rene Gracida, 94, of Corpus Christi, Texas, posted on Abyssum.org (April 7) an anonymous guest article doubting the validity of the election of Pope Francis.
The text suggests that “pre-Francis” cardinals should elect a new pope.
The author bases his claim on the constitution Universi Dominici Gregis about the election of the Roman Pontiff issued by John Paul II in 1996.
The constitution forbids any political commitment to “a candidate” and any “course of action” planned for a future pontificate.
But in the case of Francis, liberal Cardinals have admitted that they met for years in order to orchestrate the election of Cardinal Bergoglio (“St Gallen Mafia”).
In September 2017, Bishop Gracida said that “only God knows whether or not Francis is an antipope”.

Many love Francis and despise the other BXVI in deeds, disobedience, ignorance etc. even though they see and call them both popes... and that is against Scripture and Magisterium. In consequence, many of these adulterous servants have done disservice to Mother Church accepting both successive bigamies: papal with 2 popes and familial with 2 spouses - sacramental and civilly "remarried". Now is chastisement from Almighty God which causes again deep wounds and inner schism in Mystical Body of Christ that we all witness...
