I think is some ways they understand the truth better than the Catholic Church. There is no such thing as "religious freedom." No one has the right to offend God by false worship. The government does not have to accommodate false worship, either.

The Chinese see Islam as a threat to Chinese sovereignty and culture. They may be communists but they get this part correct.
