A second autopsy on the body of Bishop Jean-Marie Balla of Bafia, Cameroon, whose body was found in June in the river Sanaga, found no signs of violence on the corpse and concluded that drowning was the most likely cause of his death, the Journal du Cameroon writes.
The autopsy was performed by the Director of the School of Forensic Medicine of Berlin, Germany, Michael Tsokos, and the Interpol official Mark Moulder. Their conclusions contradict the thesis of the Cameroon bishops, according to which Balla was murdered.
