At the German Synod, the Vatican must distinguish between the Faith and heretical ideas, Cardinal Müller told Raymond Arroyo, EWTN, (October 21).
He added that even the [anti-Catholic] retired Curia Cardinal Kasper has objections against the Synod's developments, “If Cardinal Kaspar is very critical, then we have arrived at the last point - at the last point of no return,” Müller said. He sees in the Synod “a certain form of liberal Protestantism and de-christianisation.”
Arroyo confronted Müller with Cardinal Grech's ideas according to which a final vote of the worldwide Synodal Process may not include bishops and the final document may not be submitted to the Pope.
Müller replied that this Synod is “not necessary” for the faithful, “It's more important that they read and listen to the word of God and not make a collection of some ideas”, he said adding that this is “a synod of bishops, not a synod of lay people, which is a Protestant idea.”

De resultaten, producten van het Tweede Vaticaanse Concilie staan op instorten, Protestanten en Rooms Katholieken moesten in Nederland na het Tweede Vaticaanse Concilie samen in een nieuwe partij, het CDA.
