Detroit Archbishop "Forbids" Ad Orientem Eucharists

In his decree abolishing at least ten Masses in the Roman Rite in Detroit, the new Archbishop Edward Weisenburger made some unrelated restrictions. They concern the Novus Ordo.

- "Use of the ad orientem posture by the priest when using the ordinary form of the Mass is no longer permitted and the Mass must be celebrated on a freestanding altar."

- "If a permanent free standing altar is not already installed in the parish church it shall be installed no later than 180 days from the promulgation of these norms."

The decree (full below) diminishing the Latin Masses led to online mockery against Monsignor Weisenburger. It was first published on the Archdiocesan website, then disappeared but is still found on several social media accounts.

Homosexual propaganda Eucharists are allowed in the Archdiocese of Detroit (advertisement below).

Better if all of us prepare for traditional latin masses be celebrated in barns, out in the field, or anywhere else than a Church, away from all false prophets. But again, this is what they want, to finally seize everything for themselves.
