The SA bishop meets famous American liberty of speech
And the linked article is quite funny, in particular articles of faith of the authors mixed with the relation: "Recent years have seen a rise in antisemitism, which has been condemned by USCCB leaders."
A bishop's main concern must always be the salvation of souls. Unless the politics are about his diocese, he should remain quiet. War is a punishment for sin. The Jews and the Moslems are fighting among themselves. Except for the few Palestinian Christians who are in Gaza, this should not be a major regard for the episcopacy.
Unless abortions are taking place in a bishop's diocese, he should remain silent about the topic of abortion? I don't think so. These are not strictly political issues, but moral as well. And Christians are suffering and dying also.
Such a great Catholic I see! You should take your own advice, which I did not solicit. Your Mom tried to sell me the crack and the pipe and the TV......said it was for your edumacashun.
This boob must go...if good Bishop Strickland can be fired, this Jew hater can be as well. When asked, 85% of residents of "Gaza" support Hamas. That is a damning statistic.
Bonnie, you need to educate yourself. Watch the following video and go to Rumble and watch E Michael Jones' The Goy Guide to World History to find out why the were kicked out of almost every European country. twitter.com/Wordsarewordz/status/1787962075119317101
No thanks, I should have known there would be apologists for Hamas (that makes you a Hamashole) on a Catholic website. You read the articles on The Pillar on the archbishop. Dementia seems to have set in.
You appear to be entrenched, and a older, loveless feminist, I suspect. I think America should stay out of all foreign wars, and I do not take the side of Hamas, but we must condemn the evil done by Israel also.
You do realize names chosen do not directly reflect sex, age or origin. Catholic is what I am guilty of. Read through some of your screeds, the loveless moniker is yours. Feminists are old nuns who wear pantsuits. Is that you, sister?
@Bonnie Louise.. when you mentioned "articles on The Pillar" is that a favorable or unfavorable mention of the Pillar? I have an opinion of the Pillar and I wonder if you share it.
