No, Emanuele. If Your Father Died In His Atheism He Is Most Surely In Hell

Here, Francis is seen preparing the next catechism lesson. We are truly living in the age of the delicate violet. It is as if …

@Holy Cannoli : Your question: "What if by some chance you were not born where you actually were born but rather you were born in some small country village located in the Far East?"

My answer: I don't know, and there is little information about this in the Bible. Saint Francis Xavier would have answered like this,

“Many, many people hereabouts are not becoming Christians for one reason: there is nobody to make them Christians. Again and again I have thought of going round the universities of Europe, especially Paris, and everywhere crying out like a madman. Riveting the attention of those with more learning than charity: What a tragedy: how many souls are being shut out of heaven and falling into hell, thanks to you! I wish they would work as hard at this as they do at their books, and so settle their account with God for their learning and the talents entrusted to them.” (Office of Readings, Dec. 3, Feast of St. Francis Xavier)

And what a coincidence that after the atheist Scalfari attributes to Bergoglio a heresy of the denial of hell, Bergoglio chose a child precisely to ask this question. Scalfari puts as part of the title of his video: Papa Francesco : "Il tuo papà ora è in cielo, anche se era ateo" "Your father is now in heaven, even if he was an atheist"
And by the way the title of this article is correct because it defends the dogma of Hell. No, Emanuele. If Your Father Died In His Atheism He Is Most Surely In Hell.
Apostolos12
‘But of that day or hour, no man knoweth, neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father’ (Mk 13:32)
Who then is to say, ‘he/she is going to hell’ or to heaven... just as we don’t know ‘the day or hour’, only God in His infinite wisdom shall make such a judgement on one’s soul.
‘It is known to us and to you that those who are in invincible ignorance of our most holy religion, but …More

‘It is known to us and to you that those who are in invincible ignorance of our most holy religion, but who observe carefully the natural law, and the precepts graven by God upon the hearts of all men, and who being disposed to obey God lead an honest and upright life, may, aided by the light of divine grace, attain to eternal life; for God who sees clearly, searches and knows the heart, the disposition, the thoughts and intentions of each, in His supreme mercy and goodness by no means permits that anyone suffer eternal punishment, who has not of his own free will fall into sin.’

Dear D R N,

Dear D R N,
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
I will like to respond to that particular question with another question. What if by some chance you were not born where you actually were born but rather you were born in some small country village located in the Far East. We don't have control over where we are born or to whom, right? So this would have been a possibility. 👌

In addition, what if in your country village you had never heard of the name of Jesus Christ, you never saw a bible of never even met a Christian missionary or otherwise. In fact, let's say the only form of 'belief' you held was Buddhism. You may have been fortunate enough to have been raised by parents who saw the value of honest hard work, working the land and so you were well prepared for adulthood and your survival and the survival of your family. However, matters of “faith” were not taught, advocated or shown to have any value at all in your life or in the lives of those in your village. 😲

16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
So then, according to your quote from Mark, since you could not possibly believe in something you never heard of, you would be damned, right? Or, is there another more logical understanding of scripture that would help us see that God's mercy extends far beyond what many exclusionary Catholics believe? 🤗

Those who die impenitent surely go to hell. However, as one writer put it; Between death and the judgement, the abyss of God's mercy. We simply do not know where anyone goes after they die.

It is not difficult to say to a young orphan that if his atheist father died in his atheism he is most certainly in hell.

It is not difficult to say to a young orphan that if his atheist father died in his atheism he is most certainly in hell.

One can only imagine the perverted mind of the individual (Mundabore) who wrote the above line. The author describes himself on his blog as a “conservative Catholic.” Well, I am a conservative Catholic but I have little in common with the jerk who was so callous to further punish an already suffering little boy.

In describing himself, the writer comments about himself: The author has no desire of notoriety or recognition.

I have decided to give the humble author a little recognition of my own. He gets my recognition for being a big mouth with a weak mind and devoid of basic common sense.
-----------------------------------------
Once again, no one knows what was whispered by the pope in this grieving little boy's ear. I doubt if the boy even remembers and who knows about the pope. We are told what was said but do you really want to believe the sanitization and corrections of papal comments that routinely come out of the Vatican these days.

The little boy (Manny) was physically and psychological devastated. The Pope gave comfort to poor Manny and he was correct in doing so. This was clearly NOT the time to quote the catechism or the words of a condemning saint. There will be time for that in this boy's life and this was NOT the time.

If the case were slightly different and little Manny was terminally ill laying in a hospital bed, should the pope tell him that little Manny should see a priest (hopefully not a queer) because when Manny dies he will be in hell just like his father unless he confesses his sins? Of course, the answer is NO! How that case should be handled will be the subject of another post at another time.

The author of the line in question (Mundabore) closes his essay (which ultimately turns into another indictment against the pope) with:

Die soon, Francis, and may the Lord have mercy on you. Though for some reason I have the impression that your pit will be the deepest in hell.

I will be cautious about what I read from this person in the future. He obviously suffers from (PDR) Papal Derangement Syndrome. This is similar to a serious obsessive disease seen here in the States called (TDS) Trump Derangement Syndrome. Rather than try to explain the effects of this disease one can simply watch CNN or NBC (on any day) and in a very short time you will see its devastating effects on the individual's perception of reality even affecting their common sense.

And yet the author claims that he is and claims that his writing is that of a “conservative Catholic.” I don't think so.
