In der Kirche sollten doch alle liturgischen "Vorlieben" Platz haben, solange sie dem Willen Gottes entsprechen und Seiner Ehre dienen. Entspricht es dem Evangelium jemand auszuschließen, weil er "andere liturgische Vorlieben hat"? In der Bibel sehen wir aber, daß Götzenkult keinen Raum im Volk Gottes haben darf.
Einem Katholiken geht es nicht um Vorlieben, sondern um Gott und die Liebe und den Gehorsam Ihm gegenüber. Wer die Not der Kirche heute auf angebliche Vorlieben reduziert, erkennt nicht die Bedeutung, welche die Wahrheit im wahren christlichen Leben und in der wahren christlichen Spiritualität spielt und auch spielen muss, wenn sie sich wirklich als Kirche Gottes wahrnimmt.
Das Problem heute sind nicht persönliche Gefühle der Gläubigen, die ja alle mit einem wahren Nachfolger Petri die Gemeinschaft suchen oder pflegen würden. Das Problem ist, dass sie keinen wahren Hirten oder Nachfolger Petri mehr finden und erkennen können. 
Das Problem ist, dass heute jeder überzeugt seine eigene Wahrheit verkündet: Relativismus! Nicht nur " Linke" , sondern auch Tradis, die sich verbohrt über alle hinwegsetzen, die nicht ihrer "Lehre" anhangen - und wenn's der von Jesus Christus eingesetzte Stellvertreter ist. "Auf dass sie alle eins seien...?"

Certainly. But the prior question is precisely this: Who is the true Successor of Peter, and what does true communion with him actually consist in?
Catholic communion is not communion with just any man, nor submission to every liturgical reform in the name of a merely external unity. The unity of the Church is founded upon the same faith, the same sacraments, and the same government, not upon the acceptance of novelties contrary to what has been handed down.
Saint Paul himself teaches: “But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be anathema.” (Gal. 1:8)
Thus, the Catholic principle is not: “Place unity above truth,” but precisely the opposite: it is because the Church is one in the truth that we must remain in her communion.
Therefore, as a sedevacantist, I cannot allow the question to be dismissed by an appeal to “personal feelings”: if a liturgical reform, or the teaching accompanying it, manifests a substantial rupture with the Church’s previous faith and liturgy, then rejection of that novelty should not simply be presumed to be the product of sentimental attachment.
And above all: the legitimacy of the man who presents himself as the “Successor of Peter” must be examined before obedience to his person can be made the criterion of Catholic communion.
