There were about 30,000 people killed during the French revolution. There have been 65 million babies killed in the USA since 1972 and Barnhardt does not care one bit about those babies.
Liam Ronan
@chris griffin You state: "There were about 30,000 people killed during the French revolution. There have been 65 million babies killed in the USA since 1972 and Barnhardt does not care one bit about those babies."
Whatever possessed you to make such a cruel comment about Ann Barnhardt. What evidence do you have to backup this charge?
chris griffin
@Liam Ronan... You have already judged me crueI so you must be a cruel person yourself.
I went thru 10 years of her site and found zero articles about abortion among her several hundreds postings. 10 years of postings and she purposedly and deliberately completely, totally ignored the murder of the unborn. Liam Ronan
@chris griffin I wrote your 'comment' was cruel with respect to the inference you posted blackening Ann Barnhardt's character. The Vendee, of which she spoke, were Catholic heroes and who would well serve as magnificent examples for the pro-life movement.

Best to follow the canonized saints, the Fathers and Doctors of the Church. You can't go wrong.
chris griffin
@Liam Ronan.... I did not blacken her character. I told the truth, she blackened her own character.

She is a tough lady. Awesome Sister. I’ve nicknamed her the Widow Sarah Tillane from the Quiet Man Movie. She reminds me of her. 😄

Yes - one day she will fully be recognised as the Catherine of Sienna she fully is of our day
SonoftheChurch
@Maria delos Angeles Hahahahahaha!!!🤣🤣🤣….sorry, but Barnhardt is indeed, many things. However, the “Saint Cathrine of Sienna of our day” isn’t one of them. You’re so funny. 😂😂🤣🤣
chris griffin
She has been doing this for 12 years and never wrote an article about abortion. She is hard hearted to the "least of these".
Maria delos Angeles
@chris griffin, she did at least one whole podcast on the subject of abortion. Perhaps you didnt hear that one.
chris griffin
@Maria delos Angeles....Thanks for the reply but her one episode out of several hundreds over 12 years is an indictment of her, not a compliment.

#204 . But do not be judging the fruit before it is reached full maturity , posterity will tell. I care about abortion but not speak about it a great deal. Different ministries, gifts, charisms, areas of focus. Abortion is something, obviously, all Catholics should care about
chris griffin
@Maria delos Angeles…Thank you but I disagree with everything you said. I judge her fruit of 12 years without mentioning abortion as a glaring insult to the Blessed Virgin Mary who had the unborn baby Jesus in her womb. Why don’t you speak about abortion often? Are you introverted? There are 2,500 babies aborted every day in the USA but she has a different concern???? The condemnation of abortion …More

The condemnation of abortion has the same authority as the founding of the Catholic Church by Christ and all the Maria dogmas but that is not important enough for her. I fear for her eternal soul.

I fear you are missing the bigger picture @chris griffin. The spiritual works of mercy are of a higher order than the corporal works, although both are necessary, (thou shalt not kill being obviously under the Commandments). God disposes His saints in different ways to focus on different areas, each to help one another in the building up of the Mystical Body. I have had the grace of attending the …More
I fear you are missing the bigger picture @chris griffin. The spiritual works of mercy are of a higher order than the corporal works, although both are necessary, (thou shalt not kill being obviously under the Commandments). God disposes His saints in different ways to focus on different areas, each to help one another in the building up of the Mystical Body. I have had the grace of attending the Traditional Latin Mass every day for 4 years or more. In an age when the vast majority of Catholics are starved of decent Liturgy .. someone has to focus on these things so that less people will be drawn into abortion in the first place. So it all feeds into the bigger picture.

“Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction" James 1:27. Which you and her never do.

This is abortion…

1. Attempted murder of Jesus Christ
whatever you do to the least of these you do to me Matt 25:40

2. Abortion is hatred of God
all those who love death hate God Prov 8:36

3. Violates the greatest Commandment. Love God with all your heart, soul, strength and mind Matt 22:37-38, Luke 10:27, Mark12:30

4. Violates the second greatest Commandment. Love our neighbor as yourself, most of all her baby Matt 22:39, Mark 12:31, Galatians 5:14

5. Abortion is UNTHINKABLE to God

never entered God’s mind that a mother would sacrifice her baby Jeremiah 7:31, 19:5, 32:35 three times emphasized in Jeremiah

OK, I understand the arguments you are making, but the argument I made above stands. I was not boasting about attending the Latin Mass; not to point out the graces and gifts one has been given by God, whether merited or unmerited could actually be a form of false humility, and not sharing the fruits of His Glory for the edification of other. I understand your zeal for souls, but perhaps you are …More

I understand your zeal for souls, but perhaps you are mixing passion in there, and you need to not do that. If you want to be effective to evangelize others you need to not batter people over the heads with a Bible, which seems to be your approach. Jesus is more gentle. I will pray for you that God will purify your approach. PS how do you know I do not visit widows?
SonoftheChurch
@Maria delos Angeles ….and the orphans. 😳
