Leo XIV Received a Homosexual Couple with "Warmth"

In October, Pope Leo XIV received a delegation from the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, led by Archbishop José Gomez. Among them were two homosexuals from California who have been in a [pseudo-]marriage since 2023, reports the Substack.com account Letters From Leo on November 13.

The two homosexuals are Alex Capecelatro, an AI tech entrepreneur, and Brian Stevens, a philanthropist who is much older than Capecelatro. Stevens is a former seminarian and a Knight of Malta who has led more than thirty pilgrimages to Lourdes.

When Leo XIV heard "we are married," Capecelatro later wrote on social media, he received them "with unmistakable warmth and kindness, not a hint of hesitation".

Then, with a playful grin, Capecelatro asked Leo XIV: "I have one very important question: How did you do at Wordle today?"

The Pope burst into laughter. It turned out that both needed six tries to solve the puzzle for the word "Glare". Leo XIV came back to compare notes about it minutes later.

“Did that really just happen?”, Capecelatro wondered himself.

They also told Leo XIV how important James Martin's homosexual activism is to them. According to them, Leo XIV nodded approvingly when they mentioned that name.
