For those who question whether God can use even this "modernization" of our Sacred Liturgy to touch the hearts of those who came there for Love of Him, I once read the account of a satanist who was converted at a Black Mass as he watched his fellow satanists venting their fury on the Blessed Sacrament.

During the Black Mass, he suddenly received a blinding light and grace to realize that unless Christ were truly Present in the Blessed Sacrament, his fellow satanists would not be pouring out their fury upon It.

He was instantly converted by that grace, left the Black Mass and became a devout Catholic.

And another account of someone I know very well personally. She had been leading a very sinful life in the 1970's, very, very far from God. At the time the movie "Jesus Christ Superstar" (!!!) was playing in the theaters. She went to see it with her then-fiance.

During the movie, she was deeply struck by the depiction of Christ's Passion and Death. As they left the movie theater, she started sobbing and sobbing, and said to her fiance: "Do you see what He did for us and we don't even think about it?"

She began to receive striking signal graces, had an instantaneous conversion, ended her engagement and later entered consecrated life.

And yet, many clearly saw "Jesus Christ Superstar" as a sacrilegious movie. No arguing with that; but God used it to give this person the grace of perfect contrition and a conversion.

God's love and grace is stopped by nothing and responds to the dispositions of the soul seeking Him wherever they hope to find and encounter Him.

Hopefully God will restore the Church soon.....but until then, He is faithful to souls who seek Him.

Our Blessed Lord "seeing the multitudes, had compassion on them: because they ... were like sheep that have no shepherd. Then he saith to his disciples, The harvest indeed is great, but the labourers are few. Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he send forth labourers into his harvest."

Sadly this is all these young people were given. However, they could be home watching TV or playing video games, or out taking drugs. But instead they came here to worship the only way they know how. Their desire to be here instead, worshiping Our Lord in the way they were taught, is at least consoling.

With the Pope himself suppressing the Traditional Latin Mass, it is becoming more and more impossible for them to have an alternative.

It was because the young were gravitating more and more to the Latin Mass that the "Hierarchy" wants to destroy it.

And if you have any doubt about just how evil the Left is, and how diametrically opposed the Republican platform is to what they have planned for this country, you need only consider why they want him either dead or in prison for non-crimes, and why they seem to be working so hard for either of those outcomes to happen.

I don't think you read what I wrote, as I did read yours. And I don't think you watched the RNC.

Virtually every single keynote speaker -- from the Trumps themselves, the VP Nominee Vance, those thrown in prison by the deep state, and former Presidential candidates now supporting Trump and more -- invoked the name of God, professed their Christianity and even their Catholicism, and expressed the prayerful desire to see this country turned back from the precipice of evil yawning ever more widely before us under Democrat tyranny.

Eric Trump, as only one example, said of his vision for this country "...and our children will love God...."

You won't hear anything remotely like that at the DNC -- the monsters who want to devour our children's purity and innocence and confide hundreds of thousands of young innocents into the hands of sex traffickers.

We do not live in a Catholic state. But according to you, we don't engage the political system we do live in to leverage it as best we can to stop the advance of evil unless that system is blemish-free and perfect in all its members -- even the stupid Convention organizers.

That mentality itself does advance the cause of evil -- without resistance.

That would mean we are to surrender our entire country into the hands of the clearly diabolical Democrats instead of using this election to divert that catastrophe.

This is madness and culpable failure to use our civic duty to mitigate the damage the Democrats intend to do to our country and our citizenry if they are re-elected.

We must refuse to surrender our country to an even greater evil than that of stupid, nameless Convention organizers (not Trump himself, or his cabinet, or his policy advisers) who invite such idiots to the RNC.

That is NOT a plank of the Republican platform and to equate the two is sheer absurdity and blind reasoning that will enslave this country, our children and our families to an even greater enemy: The Democrat demagogues who want to destroy us and make us prisoners of their wicked ideologies as a matter of policy.

What an absolutely absurd assertion. So I vote for the candidate who will stop the moral and sexual perversion of our children going on in our public schools by teaching them the filth of gender ideology; who will stop the exploitation and nightmare of innocent children being sex-trafficked all over our country; who will stop the drug cartels from killing more people in our country from drugs than we have lost in World Wars, and you say I am "going away from the Catholic Faith."

This is basic Ten Commandments stuff -- and I think any Catholic who pretends to be one, and who can't see what's at stake and fight to prevent it any way they can has lost their minds.

Remember if you will the parable Our Lord himself taught us about the Good Samaritan... the equivalent of today's non Jew "Protestant"... who took upon himself the care of the man wounded and left dead by robbers, while the Pharisees and Scribes left him for dead.

Our Lord condemned the punctilious, self-righteous "observers of the Law" for their wicked lack of compassion and decency, and praised the Good Samaritan who was despised by the Jews because they weren't "observant" enough and "lived in sin".

That's what's going on right here in this forum with this discussion.

This is the biggest, most reprehensible fault of "Traditionalists". I have been one for over 40 years, and I have seen it time and time again.

No, actually you are missing the point. It is precisely because I am not religiously indifferent that I know we have to mobilize every single Catholic in the United States to prevent another evil Democrat Presidency, which has extended the reign of diabolical indoctrination of our children in our schools, allowed deadly drugs and sex trafficking of innocent, helpless children to flourish, destroyed the economic security of families throughout the US, leaving them vulnerable and increasingly desperate. If all that doesn't motivate you to vote against that happening for another 4 years, then you are deeply mistaken.

Unfortunately, we live in a democratic republic, not a Catholic State; so we have to use every weapon available to us by this political structure. Many speakers at the RNC also invoked Our Lord Jesus Christ as well and spoke of Christian principles by name. We are called to be a leaven by using every means at our disposal to reverse the tide and current of our society here in the United States, even when we can only do so incrementally.

We live in the midst of a sinful mankind, but that does not mean we can foolishly stop fighting with every possible means.

Right now, all we have is a single vote against the evil Biden-Marxist-Socialist reign. That's our only next step in moving away from the evil liberal agenda they are imposing on our nation, our children and our institutions with their perverse gender ideology in our classrooms, cancelling and silencing our voices, socialism and dictatorship. Do we want that to continue? Then vote for the candidate who has pledged to oppose all of that.

Our Lord himself spoke of how the leaven changes the whole: "It is like to leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened."

We fight with whatever weapon is at hand while also immolating ourselves to prayer, sacrifice and holiness of life, for without this latter effort the former will prove unavailing.

I find the fact that there are people who actually believe the earth is flat absolutely frightening. Why? Because it's a sign of how deeply out of touch with reality some of my fellow human beings can be.

We live in an age where countless, numberless, non-invested air pilots can attest to the fact that the earth is round just based on air travel.

Same with commercial cruise liners and commercial ocean transport companies which circumvent the globe..

This does not even mention the commercial telecommunications industry which launches thousands of satellites into orbit around the earth to deliver telecommunication services, etc..

There are even private yacht owners who freely navigate the oceans daily in constant experiential proof the earth is round.

I am terribly frightened for the minds and souls of these people who insist the earth is flat. I think they have entered another dimension of non-reality and it's alarming, to say the least.
