For those who question whether God can use even this "modernization" of our Sacred Liturgy to touch the hearts of those who came there for Love of Him, I once read the account of a satanist who was converted at a Black Mass as he watched his fellow satanists venting their fury on the Blessed Sacrament.
During the Black Mass, he suddenly received a blinding light and grace to realize that unless Christ were truly Present in the Blessed Sacrament, his fellow satanists would not be pouring out their fury upon It.
He was instantly converted by that grace, left the Black Mass and became a devout Catholic.
And another account of someone I know very well personally. She had been leading a very sinful life in the 1970's, very, very far from God. At the time the movie "Jesus Christ Superstar" (!!!) was playing in the theaters. She went to see it with her then-fiance.
During the movie, she was deeply struck by the depiction of Christ's Passion and Death. As they left the movie theater, she started sobbing and sobbing, and said to her fiance: "Do you see what He did for us and we don't even think about it?"
She began to receive striking signal graces, had an instantaneous conversion, ended her engagement and later entered consecrated life.
And yet, many clearly saw "Jesus Christ Superstar" as a sacrilegious movie. No arguing with that; but God used it to give this person the grace of perfect contrition and a conversion.
God's love and grace is stopped by nothing and responds to the dispositions of the soul seeking Him wherever they hope to find and encounter Him.
Hopefully God will restore the Church soon.....but until then, He is faithful to souls who seek Him.

Am I missing something here? Is the Blessed Sacrament exposed in the midst of all this wildness and noise? How sad if that is so -- where is the SILENCE? God speaks "in a still small voice!" 1 Kings 19:11-13. Young people need to be given the opportunity to learn this.

@DrMaria He doesn’t always speak that way. Not always. Don’t put the Almighty God of Heaven and Earth, Lord and Creator of the Universe and all that exists, into a box of your own making.
While Our Lord may grab someone's attention in all the noise and wildness that is pictured in the video above, 2000 years of Saints who have taught us what is required to grow in holiness would hold for the need to encounter Our Lord in the silence required for self-examination/self-knowledge and mental prayer. I thought it was Beautiful.
Our Blessed Lord "seeing the multitudes, had compassion on them: because they ... were like sheep that have no shepherd. Then he saith to his disciples, The harvest indeed is great, but the labourers are few. Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he send forth labourers into his harvest."

Sadly this is all these young people were given. However, they could be home watching TV or playing video games, or out taking drugs. But instead they came here to worship the only way they know how. Their desire to be here instead, worshiping Our Lord in the way they were taught, is at least consoling.
With the Pope himself suppressing the Traditional Latin Mass, it is becoming more and more impossible for them to have an alternative.
It was because the young were gravitating more and more to the Latin Mass that the "Hierarchy" wants to destroy it.

It's all based on entertainment, feelings and emotions. How very protestant.

Yes, it isn’t as spiritual as the old ways, yes it is way too permissive and most times they abuse our Lord's Love... but how does this "is it catholic" helps? Let’s just say it clearly, it is more evagelical/protestant than traditional... do they go to hell because of it? No... there's better ways to show people the beauty of catholicism without sounding like is witch burning time![🙏](/emoji/f09f998f)

@yuca2111 Faith and understanding based chiefly on emotion is bound to falter.

@Liam Ronan While what you write is true, do you accuse the people shown in the videos of having faith based chiefly on emotion? Do you know their respective interior lives?

@occasnltrvlr You're taking my observation a bit far aren't you? I didn't say boo about the people in the video or cast aspersions on anyone. Just pointing out that a faith based solely on emotion is a fragile thing.
We do understand that, as you say, 80 to 90% of Catholics have known Catholicism through the liberal and permissive ways of the novus ordo church. And that's the problem. I don't see that Complicitclergy was attacking these individuals. But the underlying problem needs to be attacked.
@SHJ-I Yes... complicit clergy needs to be called out always... the problem here is, this article isn’t about corrupt and mediocre clergy.
@Liam Ronan emotion is problematic sure compared with faith, but emotions were created by God; DIDN'T Paul and Silas had a feud in which they didn’t even work together anymore after? Some saints fought with their own fists people whom were blasphemous or heretical …More

Faith sometimes could take you the wrong path if you dont have LOVE first, faith without hope is just a fairy tale by pharisees.
MANY faithful departed were part of the novus ordo permissive ways, please understand it was all they knew, I got to know the traditional movement in 2011 and im 51 do the math, people born in the novus ordo and find Jesus in it, i know I did.
Traditionals need to talk with love instead of the mindset of lets burn this down mentality, or lets throw stones, I mean, this is obviously a concert in which Catholicism never did in the old days, this is more a protestant thingy for sure, is it evil? No.
All im saying is this: try and talk with love while explaining the faith, there wasn’t any love the way this post was presented, it doesn’t help.
I was a novus ordo mass goer, i worked with the new evangelization stuff JPII preached with the youth groups and the protestant style charismatic movement and with love and authority, i was shown the latin mass and understood it was the mass all saints use to love and died for, since then I've put the stiff arm to the novus ordo stuff, but sometimes I do get the Eucharist there whenever im at my mothers house because it is still the Body and Blood of Christ.
Sorry for the lengthy post, any truth presented without love is a destructive lie. Blessings

Puts me in mind of Neil Diamond's (1969) "Brother Love's Traveling Salvation Show" and The Doobie Brothers' (1972) "Jesus Is Just Alright' - Right out of the largely Evangelical Christian 'Jesus Movement' that began in the 60s and fluttered out in the 70s. Emotion-based faith.
