Pope Leo XIV Invites Five Transvestites for Lunch
That is an interesting question. Many saints prayed for sinners. Our Lady at Fatima asked prayers for sinners and, I believe that I, as a sinner, have benefitted from the prayers of saints. I will humbly follow those examples.
Pope Leo XIV Invites Five Transvestites for Lunch
"Of all the gin joints in all the world.." The Pope just coincidentally hires a gay-married Chef, with whom he dines once a week. The Pope just coincidentally gives an audience to unrepentant homosexuals. The Pope, just coincidentally, gave favorable treatment to a homosexual molester when he was a Bishop. And, with all these coincidences, we know The Pope is far, far more interested in providing a safe place for homosexuals than in passing on the Apostolic faith. If he won't do it, we have to. Learn the faith the Apostles passed on. Practice that faith as reverently as you can. Pas the Apostolic faith to your family. Pray for the Pope, he of all the people in the world, will have the most to answer for.
Catholic Cardinal Says ‘We Must Abandon The False Paradigm Of True Religion, False Religion’
While we are at it, can we adopt the paradigm of false Cardinal?
Those who will Bless you will be Blessed and those who will Curse you..
That promise was made to Abraham, the father of both the Israelites and the Arabs, so it clearly does not mean what Netanyahu implies. In fact, the relationship between the Israelites and descendants of Esau (Arabs) is Issac's blessing of Esau, which ends with, "You will live by the sword and serve your brother. But when you rebel, you will tear his yoke from your neck." Gen 27:40. If that is the promise to the Arabs than suing for peace, with a bit more humility, is a wise course.
Radicals Have A New Name For Content Happy Stay-At-Home Women
It is twisted logic that a Queen stays in her home, cares for her descendants and is supported by the work of others who's dedication is to the nation. But, a woman stays in her home, cares for her descendants and is supported by an individual husband whose dedication is to her alone, is called a slave.
Kardinal Cupich: "Novus Ordo war Korrektur der verdunkelten Liturgie des römischen Ritus"
Attributing any element of the Latin Rite, codified in 1570, to the 17th and 18th centuries belies the ignorance and lazy scholarship of the writer (whether the Cardinal or one of his minions).
Of more significance is that in 381 the Church Fathers specifically added "Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church." to the Apostles' creeds wording of "Holy Catholic Church". The addition of "Apostolic" reflects that early bishops and clergy (Arius is the most famous example but not alone.) were adding to the faith, "developing it" in Vatican II terminology. The Council rejects such "development" by specifying that is the Apostolic faith which is to be passed on.
Evaluations of pronouncements of the Synodal Church can simply be compared to the faith passed on by the Apostles.
The wolves have overtaken Vatican and installed one of their own. And Burke is with them now
It is important to understand the reality beneath the words. In a recent SSPX podcast significant clarification was offered. The Apostles knew the mass as calvary, the sacrifice for us for our redemption and salvation. The Synodal Church, as well as the Conciliar Church before it, believed that the mass is a celebratory meal in thanks for the free gift of salvation.
I have a great respect for Cardinal Burke. Cardinal Burke has been vocal about the Councilor Church transitioning to the Synodal Church. But his formation, like most of his contemporaries, was that the Conciliar Church is the 20th century expression of the Apostolic Church. He is sincere but wrong.
The fact that the Conciliar Cardinal kisses the ring of the Synodal Pope is of no particular importance. Both are in error, both may be sincere. What is important is that all who seek God sincerely, stick tenaciously and humbly to the Apostolic Church.

Leo XIV's Strange Sermon on Judas
This is the original Italian translation of the consecration. This was erroneous and corrected by Pope Benedict in 2006. The word is not "pro tutti" but "pro multis", i.e. "for many." It is critical for an understanding of redemption that God does not overrule our free will. As many saints have said and some have even seen, many, many souls fall into Hell. Many take the broad path which leads to perdition.
I think that ultimately, the goal is to justify Satan himself. If Christ died for all, Judas and Satan are indeed forgiven. Betray Jesus, tempt all of mankind into sin, no problem. That infinite dignity takes care of all. Those are pleasant thoughts but fly in the face of the Apostolic faith. We have an offer of forgiveness from God through the merits of Christ, but we have to surrender our pride and abandon our sin to accept it. Neither Judas nor Satan accepted that gift.
Leo XIV's Strange Sermon on Judas
I used to muse that the "Anti-Christ" and "the Spirit of the Anti-Christ" was intended to emphasize that humanity needs "Christ," that is the savior which is anointed by God. The Synodal Church says, you yourself, that's right, the one with infinite dignity, are OK just the way we are. We need no savior, we need no Christ. I would welcome any more sophisticated explanation but it does seem like the Synodal Church is indeed acting in the spirit of anti-Christ. Perhaps the person prophesied as the Anti-Christ is yet to come.
The Catholic Church in the US is witnessing its most significant wave of adult conversions in nearly …
I think it may be a bit premature to pop the champagne. That "highest in 20 years" is down 66% since Vatican II.
Leo XIV's Strange Sermon on Judas
It seems that the only message of the Synodal Church is "Don't worry, be happy." There are no consequences, not for betraying Christ and certainly not for my unnatural acts.

Are you sure the conflict is between the West and Islam? It was the EU globalists who sought immigration to fund their welfare state. As ivory tower atheists, high on their own supply, they thought the third world Muslims could be integrated into the ever more atheist husk of what was Christendom.
They were wrong. Islam is a conquering religion with no principal of turning the other cheek or loving one's enemies. Millions of Europeans have paid the price for that lack of realism.
Trump pushes peace over ceasefire after Putin meeting
Sort of agreed, but it seems Trump is trying to thread the needle between what Congress wants and what he wants. That would explain why Europe must now buy the weapons sent to Ukraine. Congress is happy because weapons get there but the warmongers in Europe have far less to gain than when the weapons were free (paid by US taxpayers) I think Trump wanted to punish Russia by increasing the amount of weapons to Ukraine. He may have thought better of it since there simply weren't enough Ukrainians to beat back the Russians regardless of the number of weapons. A very ugly page in European history which may be drawing to a close.
Trump pushes peace over ceasefire after Putin meeting
Yes, it does sound counterintuitive. The issue is that neither Trump nor Putin trust the Europeans. The European interests are profiting on weapon sales to Ukraine with no thought to the resulting carnage. A ceasefire would allow the oligarchs in Europe to flood Ukraine with weapons. A "ceasefire" would make the awful situation worse. A peace deal would eliminate the gravy train of arms and actually stop the carnage.

Antisedevacantists be like: So the building’s falling? Who are you to say that? You’re not even an …
The question which the poster raises is that since the late 1960's bishops have been given a nearly free hand to "modernize" the church. Literally thousands of variations have been tried. Mass attendance has dropped precipitously since then. Belief in the Real Presence (arguably the only reason to go to Mass) is held by only a minority of Mass attendees.
About 20 years ago, diocesan Bishops began to offer the "Old Mass" to see if that would reverse the decline. Where it was tried it nearly always succeeded. The reverence and formality attracted people, particularly young people. It was a sign that, as you say, the gates of Hell (nor the ill planned modernization) will prevail. Pope Benedict decreed that any priest who wanted to say the Latin Mass could not be prevented from doing so. "Latin Mass Communities" sprung up all across the country.
For reasons I cannot know, Pope Francis reversed the decision of Pope Benedict and decreed that the Latin Mass had to be phased out in all the diocesan churches. That raised the issue of the Latin Mass communities which were not part of a diocese. The post is a little jab at one of those Latin Mass communities. One group says, "A True Pope will always be right, so any Pope who contradicts the Popes and Councils before 1965 is not a pope at all”. Those people are called "sedevacantists." "Sedevacant" means, the throne is empty.
Other groups, principally a society of priests known as the SSPX, believe that the Pope is still the Pope, but there are things that even a pope can't do. In particular a pope cannot contradict prior Popes and Councils. So the SSPX priests follow all of the Pope's directions which don't contradict prior Popes and Councils. The person who posted the picture call them "Anti-sedevacantists". I am pretty sure they call themselves "Catholic".
Both sides sincerely look forward to the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart when indeed the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church will be restored.

If a person is only an animal programmed by experience and culture, your point would make sense. The Church, by contrast, believes that each person has a soul which indeed can give up all and “follow him”. The Church asks nothing which is impossible.
One does not have to abandon wives and children to avoid sin. A Josephat marriage would continue to provide care for wives and children while opening the confessional and sacraments to husband and wives alike. It will require virtue, but virtue is both the means and the goal of the Catholic life.
The church’s door is not closed, but joining the church means becoming part of the body of Christ. It requires shedding anything which is offensive to Christ. The episcopacy, in true charity, calls the sinner to do the difficult task of turning from sin. The path to salvation is only through the surrender of all for Christ. An episcopacy who asks anything less of the people must be asking less than full membership in the Body of Christ for themselves. It will not go well for them in the judgement. Pray for their souls daily.

I think that their rationale is likely as simplistic as that. Theology rooted in eternal truth is no longer taught in seminaries and hasn't been for many years.
Antisedevacantists be like: So the building’s falling? Who are you to say that? You’re not even an …
It is clear that Catholics of all stripes have doubts, strong doubts, about the priests and bishops, Leo being just one. Many have shown themselves to be both ill versed in Apostolic Tradition and ill inclined to work for their own salvation. That is an emergency for those of us with loved ones very much in need of salvation.
For the antisedevacantists it is not a lack of realizing the situation, it is an understanding that anarchy is not the answer. We are not protestants who set up a new church at the drop of a hat. The law of emergency applies and says that you do only what is necessary to avoid the emergency. Like the hermits in the desert or the open air alters in occupied Ireland, we need to retain a like to the unity of the Catholic Church.
The FSSP and Institute of Christ the King do that by retaining the mass but accepting the departure from Apostolic Tradition. The SSPX does that by accepting the Pope’s authority except where it contradicts the Apostolic Tradition or imperils the salvation of souls.
Those are not unreasonable positions. The sedevacantist position is a bit more difficult. It says, “Because the pope is wrong, I am leaving and taking the church with me.” I don’t doubt the sincerity but have a concern of how that can’t lead to continual splintering like the Protestant church.
