As the episcopal consecrations draw near, we are reminded of another, even more urgent and vital Consecration, the absence of which could be said to necessitate these extraordinary actions of the Society of Saint Pius X. That is, it is necessary for the Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, as instructed by Our Lord and Our Lady during the Fatima apparitions. SOURCE Archbishop Lefebvre on Fatima Archbishop Lefebvre himself drew a connection between the message of Fatima and his decision to perform the initial episcopal consecrations in 1988. The previous year, on June 29th, he had written with regard to the unpublished portion of the Fatima secret: “They have not wanted to reveal her secret. They have buried the message of the Virgin Mary. Without a doubt this message was supposed to prevent what is happening today. If her message had been known, it is very probable that we would not have gone so far and that the situation in Rome would not be what it is today. The …
Cardinal Burke Sees "No State of Emergency": Ordaining bishops without a papal mandate will have to be punished, Cardinal Raymond Burke told PerMariam.com. He hopes Leo XIV will appoint cardinals to continue talks with the FSSPX, saying reconciliation remains possible. Cardinal Burke, a canon lawyer, rejected rumours that all FSSPX members could be declared excommunicated: "I don’t think that can be sustained". Furthermore, he dismissed the FSSPX's claim of a "state of emergency" to justify episcopal consecrations. While acknowledging serious difficulties in the Church, he insisted that Catholics must remain faithful within the Church: "No situation justifies doing something that is intrinsically evil."
VATICAN CITY (PerMariam) — Cardinal Raymond Burke has given his assessment of the recent Extraordinary Consistory along with the upcoming episcopal consecrations of the Society of Saint Pius X, noting some remaining concerns about the consistory format, while lamenting the planed consecrations. Speaking with Per Mariam following the recent consistory, Cdl. Burke offered a summary of the event which drew just under 180 cardinals to Rome for the second such meeting of Leo XIV’s pontificate. As many have similarly done, Burke welcomed the return of consistory’s to the Vatican’s regular life, since it offers a chance to “discuss important questions with regard to the Church.” But he also raised his concerns about the small table “synodal” group method which has largely replaced the traditional open discussion. As for synodality itself, on which the cardinals were briefed during Saturday’s meeting, the American prelate said that it “remains unresolved.” “There really needs to be a …
This article was published by the National Review online on June 26, 2026 Wesley Smith By Wesley J Smith The Anglican Church of Canada has authorized clergy to bless people being euthanized just before, during, and after being lethally jabbed (when permitted by the bishop). From “Pastoral Liturgies at the Time of Death in Contexts of Medically Assisted Dying”: It is not our intent to enter into the ethical arguments regarding MAiD, nor to provide a moral argument for or against MAiD. . . . No matter where people are in their life journey, we as a Christian community and Christian leaders in particular are called to respond pastorally to the needs and concerns of the people before us. Wherever the church serves, we are the Body of Christ reaching out to the suffering, the sick, and the dying. When someone reaches out for pastoral care, the church responds: there is a duty of pastoral care. If the Anglican Church can’t enter into an ethical argument about euthanasia what is the point …
I’m sure that a number of priests have quietly celebrated a funeral Mass for someone who has chosen euthanasia? If you know this to be true, care to comment?

Vatican Responded "Good Luck" to the Catholic State Idea: Today, Bishop Bernard Fellay FSSPX ordained five priests and three deacons in Écône. During his homily, he claimed "a small incident" witnessed by all the leading figures of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, including the Prefect, the Secretary and the Undersecretary. The FSSPX said that they want to win over individuals but also societies for Christ. The alleged response from the Congregation: "Good luck." Monsignor Fellay comments: "They no longer believe it."
Mgr Fellay reports this highly revealing anecdote about the mindset of the Roman authorities. When the FSSPX tells them that it wants to work to bring souls and societies back to God, these same authorities say to it, "Good luck!" They no longer believe in it!
Tipjar: buymeacoffee.com/torresangelica Part 3 - Ineffabilis Deus - Liturgical Argument - Definition of the Immaculate Conception Holy Mother Church fostered this doctrine age after age in many ways and by solemn acts. Liturgical Argument. The Catholic Church, directed by the Holy Spirit of God, is the pillar and base of truth and has ever held as divinely revealed and as contained in the deposit of heavenly revelation this doctrine concerning the original innocence of the august Virgin — a doctrine which is so perfectly in harmony with her wonderful sanctity and preeminent dignity as Mother of God — and thus has never ceased to explain, to teach and to foster this doctrine age after age in many ways and by solemn acts. From this very doctrine, flourishing and wondrously propagated in the Catholic world through the efforts and zeal of the bishops, was made very clear by the Church when she did not hesitate to present for the public devotion and veneration of the faithful the Feast of …More

The Two Columns of the Church The San Zeno Altarpiece is a monumental triptych painted by Andrea Mantegna (c. 1431–1506) between 1457 and 1460 for the high altar of the Basilica of San Zeno Maggiore in Verona. The work consists of a central panel showing the Virgin and Child in majesty, surrounded by angel musicians, and two side panels: on the left, the apostolic pillars (Peter, Paul, John, and Zeno, a 4th-century bishop and saint, apostle of Christian Verona); on the right, the city’s patron saints (Benedict, Lawrence, Gregory the Great, and John the Baptist). The painted architecture that structures the composition is inspired by antiquity; it unifies the panels into a single coherent space, like a loggia opening onto a garden. The illustration on the cover of this month’s Magnificat is a detail from the left panel. It depicts Saints Peter and Paul. The silent dialogue between the two, as Mantegna presents it, is a distillation of his genius: sculptural rigor, psychological depth,…More
This is Part One of the interview for the British audience I gave a few days ago, where I answer questions not so much on the contemporary politics but on Russian Soviet History. Why did the Soviet Union collapse? Why did Putin come to power? Why is he so popular in Russia and so much detested in some West European ruling circles? I am corrected by Dr. Brovkin. It's not 83 -84% favorabilty but 86%! I thought it was higher. But I went by someone I watch. I use to see many interviews with many people and their happiness I knew he was off. But still a very high number for a man in office so long. And they will continue to vote for him as long as he runs. Which came from each interview. But I don't think there will be a next time to vote for anyone. I think Putin's time is over. He has done all he can and hopefully will see it till the end of his term. With GOD stepping in, or I should say, stepping back to let The Great Chastisement begin. As we are only in the very beginnings of it. The way I see it is, as well as others and from Putin himself, while he is going slowly in Ukraine to save lives of men on both sides. GOD is allowing things to go slow so He can call souls to Himself. Does anyone else see it that way? Or am I the only one to see this?

The Pope seeks discernment, but revelation ended with the death of St. John. The Holy Spirit assists us in living that revelation. It is the demonic spirits who provide new inspiration.
Sat Jun 27, 2026 - 2:34 pm EDT VATICAN CITY (LifeSiteNews) — Pope Leo XIV opened his second extraordinary consistory of cardinals on Friday in which he insisted that the Lord is leading the Church via “synodality” so that she can “grow in communion,” according to a report by Vatican journalist Edward Pentin. The Pontiff encouraged the 178 cardinals to “engage wholeheartedly” in a synodal, working group structure, adding that he was “well aware that, for many of us, this is not the usual way of conducting a consistory,” Pentin said in his EWTN News report. “I count on you to help me discern what the Spirit is saying to the Church today. I need your support: strong, explicit, and public,” Leo said in his opening remarks on Friday. “I need to feel sustained by you as brothers.” “The pope’s comments came after some cardinals had expressed apprehensions about the consistory using a ‘synodal’ round-table format for a second time — a structure they felt was ‘very controlled’ when …
