THERE IS A NEW DEVELOPMENT IN THE CATHOLIC CHURCH. IT SUPPORTS THE CENTER RIGHT POLITICAL PARTIES : LORENZO FONTANA WOULD NOTE

THERE IS NEW DEVELOPMENT IN THE CATHOLIC CHURCH. IT SUPPORTS THE CENTER RIGHT POLITICAL PARTIES : LORENZO FONTANA WOULD NOTE
There is a big political development for the center right political parties in Italy. There is a new discovery. It means the Catholic Church is conservative once again. The Church can no more support the liberal-left with the New Theology. The New Theology of Balthazar, Fisichella, Ratzinger and Rahner is now obsolete. It has a built-in defect.
The Catholic Church can no more support abortion, homosexual unions and things of the Left since Vatican Council II is no more liberal. The ruse in the name of the Council has been discovered.

VATICAN COUNCIL II IS CONSERVATIVE
Vatican Council II and the Catechism of Pope John Paul II are conservative when interpreted rationally. This was not known over the last 60 years.
The Catholic Church now has unity in doctrine. There can no more be a liberal-traditionalist division. The mainline Catholic Church can only be …More

Terrorists Torch Marian Statue after Nigerian School Kidnapping
The Diocese of Kontagora is mourning not only the mass kidnapping of 315 students and staff from Saint Mary’s School, but also the deliberate desecration inflicted. After storming the campus and forcing children into captivity, armed terrorists reportedly entered the school grounds and set fire to a statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The scorched pedestal, melted crown, and shattered rosary remain as painful reminders of the assault, which church leaders say was intended to terrorize Catholics and violate the community’s spiritual heart. Witnesses described classrooms being ransacked, crucifixes torn from walls, and the small school chapel left vandalized. For many parents, the burned Marian statue — once a gathering place for daily student prayer — has become the most haunting image of the attack. The attack reflects a growing pattern across north western Nigeria, where criminal and extremist groups target schools, churches …More

A great reflection to start the Advent season

This is a great reflection to begin this Sunday the 2025 season of Advent. It's titled, "Waiting for Christ" and comes from daily liturgical guide the Magnificat. It was written by St. John Henry Newman. He was born in 1801 and died in 1890. He converted to Catholicism. He was made a cardinal by Pope Leo XIII in 1879. Newman was a great preacher and writer. And he is a saint.
Here's his Advent reflection, "Waiting for Christ."
Each new year, as it passes, brings us the same warnings again and again, and none perhaps more impressive than those with which it comes to us at this season…. The year is worn out. Spring, summer, autumn, each in turn, have brought their gifts and done their utmost, but they are over, and the end is come….
Thus the soul is cast forward upon the future, and in proportion as its conscience is clear and its perception true does it rejoice solemnly that the night is advanced, the day is at hand, that there are a new heaven and a new earth (Rv 21:1) to come, though …

DAY 30
COMMITMENT OF THE SOULS OF PURGATORY, TO ACHIEVE ETERNAL SALVATION TO THEIR BENEFACTORS
MONTH OF NOVEMBER
IN SUFFRAGE OF
THE BLESSED SOULS
OF PURGATORY
Francisco Vitali
For the signal...
INITIAL SENTENCE
O Mary, Mother of mercy: remember the children you have in purgatory and, presenting our suffrages and your merits to your Son, intercede so that he may forgive them their debts and take them out of those darkness into the admirable light of his glory, where they enjoy your sweetest sight and that of your blessed Son.
O glorious Patriarch Saint Joseph, intercede together with your Wife before your Son for the souls of purgatory. Amen.
It is read about every day.
DAY 30
Meditation
Commitment of the souls of Purgatory, to achieve eternal salvation to their benefactors
If they pray a lot for us, if they obtain many graces while the souls of Purgatory are unhappy prisoners, how much more effective will their intercession be when they become glorious queens in Paradise? They will not …More

NOVEMBER 30 2025 THE GOSPEL
breski1
Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Matthew 24,37-44.
Jesus said to his disciples: “As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.
In (those) days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day that Noah entered the ark.
They did not know until the flood came and carried them all away. So will it be (also) at the coming of the Son of Man.
Two men will be out in the field; one will be taken, and one will be left.
Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken, and one will be left.
Therefore, stay awake! For you do not know on which day your Lord will come.
Be sure of this: if the master of the house had known the hour of night when the thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and not let his house be broken into.
So too, you also must be prepared, for at an hour you do not expect, the Son of Man will come.

St Joseph's Corner
Saint Conrad of Constance (c. 900–975) was a nobleman who chose service over power, charity over comfort, and peace over conflict. 🕊️💛 Born into the powerful Welf family of Germany, he gave up a life of privilege to become a priest and later the Bishop of Constance, where he served with deep humility. Conrad was known for: ✨ his gentleness and compassion ✨ his tireless charity to the sick and poor ✨ his skill in calming political tensions ✨ his peaceful spirit in leadership ✨ his devotion to pilgrimages — travelling three times to the Holy Land Although he came from nobility, he lived simply, giving much of his wealth away. He visited the sick, cared for the needy, and made decisions that protected both the Church and ordinary people. Isaiah 4:2-6
“The branch of the Lord will be beauty and glory.”
The Branch that is of God is God nourishing his people. We await the Savior as a reminder, and at the same time, we know that God is present with us right now, in our lives.
Matthew 8:5-11
Jesus said to the centurion, “I will come and cure him.”
The centurion said to Jesus, “Lord, I am not worthy to have you enter under my roof, but only say the word, and my servant will be healed.”
The centurion’s trust is an example for us. We know that God is at work right now in our lives and in the lives of every person.

I agree absolutely. Any fool knows what happens when you push the accelerator in your car, but they don't understand what is happening.
Anyways, I like this one:
"People's experience of the world is stunted, fueling their arrogance. Understanding the planet is no longer enough or important, people are intend on trying to change it."
Sadly I don't remember where I picked that up.

Paris Welcomes Christmas Season with Dazzling “Carol of the Bells” | Shalom World News
Place de la Madeleine became an open-air concert hall on November 19, 2025, as a surprise flash mob of 100 musicians captivated Parisians with a powerful orchestral performance of “Carol of the Bells.” The event featured Violin Phönix, renowned pianist and conductor Julien Cohen, the French Republican Guard’s wind orchestra, and a children’s choir, creating a sweeping, multi-layered musical spectacle. The performance, amplified by Devialet’s sound technology, coincided with the ceremonial lighting of the Christmas decorations organized by the Comité du Faubourg Saint-Honoré. As holiday lights illuminated the historic square, crowds gathered in awe, many filming, singing along, and applauding. The flash mob marked the official start of Paris’s festive season, celebrating art, community, and the city’s enduring Christmas spirit.

Book of Isaiah 2,1-5.
This is what Isaiah, son of Amoz, saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.
In days to come, The mountain of the LORD'S house shall be established as the highest mountain and raised above the hills. All nations shall stream toward it;
many peoples shall come and say: "Come, let us climb the LORD'S mountain, to the house of the God of Jacob, That he may instruct us in his ways, and we may walk in his paths." For from Zion shall go forth instruction, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
He shall judge between the nations, and impose terms on many peoples. They shall beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks; One nation shall not raise the sword against another, nor shall they train for war again.
O house of Jacob, come, let us walk in the light of the LORD!
Psalms 122(121),1-2.3-4.5.6-7.8-9.
I rejoiced because they said to me,
"We will go up to the house of the LORD."
And now we have set foot
within your gates, O Jerusalem.
Jerusalem, built …

1st Reading – Isaiah 2:1-5
1 The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw, concerning Judah and Jerusalem.
2 And in the last days, the mountain of the house of the Lord will be prepared at the summit of the mountains, and it will be exalted above the hills, and all the nations shall flow to it.
3 And many peoples will go, and they will say: “Let us approach and ascend to the mountain of the Lord, and to the house of the God of Jacob. And he will teach us his ways, and we will walk in his paths.” For the law will go forth from Zion, and the Word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
4 And he will judge the nations, and he will rebuke many peoples. And they shall forge their swords into plowshares, and their spears into sickles. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, neither will they continue to train for battle.
5 O house of Jacob, let us approach and walk in the light of the Lord.

How a Convert Tried to Bring the Whole World into the Catholic Church

Ivan Kramskoi (1837–1887), Portrait of philosopher Vladimir Solovyov (source)
Published in Paris in 1885, in order to protect the author from possible persecution by the Russian imperial authorities, Solovyov’s work La Russie et l’Église universelle (Russia and the Universal Church)1 contains a section whose reading played a decisive role in my conversion. This part of Solovyov’s book bears a significant title: “La Monarchie Ecclésiastique fondée par Jésus-Christ” (“The Ecclesiastical Monarchy Founded by Jesus Christ”). From the very beginning, the Russian thinker emphasizes through this title that the hierarchy of the Church is monarchical, with its invisible head—God—being analogously and symbolically represented by a visible head—the Pope.
Undoubtedly the most important speculative Russian thinker of all time, Solovyov gives headaches to “Orthodox” Eastern theologians who do everything they can to erase the traces of his conversion. Beyond the strictly biographical aspects …
