The Greatest Story Ever Told (Luke 2:1-14) Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Luke 2,1-14. In those days a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that the whole world should be enrolled. This was the first enrollment, when Quirinius was governor of Syria. So all went to be enrolled, each to his own town. And Joseph too went up from Galilee from the town of Nazareth to Judea, to the city of David that is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and family of David, to be enrolled with Mary, his betrothed, who was with child. While they were there, the time came for her to have her child, and she gave birth to her firstborn son. She wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn. Now there were shepherds in that region living in the fields and keeping the night watch over their flock. The angel of the Lord appeared to them and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were struck with great fear. The angel …More

God has left thy splendid favours and descended in His birth, keen to share our pains and labours. He was wounded and tormented for our sins, to heal the crippled, For the Word is incarnated and has dwelt among us, people. Raise your hand, Holy Child, Bless our cherished fatherland, and support it with your might in well being and prudent stand. Bless our home and goods related, hamlets and each city steeple, For the Word is incarnated and has dwelt among us, people.
Sister Lucy Truth Father Joaquín María Alonso was the official archivist of Fatima, entrusted with the Church's most closely guarded secret. For fifteen years, he had unrestricted access to everything: the original manuscripts, Sister Lúcia's sealed letters, the confidential correspondence. He wrote sixteen volumes documenting what he discovered. Then, in 1981, he died. His life's work was buried in the Vatican archives, never to see wide distribution. This is the tragic story of the priest who knew too much, a story that has never been told, until now. Fifty-minute documentary. [Saint Bridget of Sweden/ Heliga Birgitta; XIV Century AD: aged 69-70; Uppland, Sweden/Rome, Papal States; Widow, Mystic; Spiritual Writer; Founder; Patroness of Europe] Chapter 35 ~ The Virgin Mary’s words to the bride about her own sorrow at the suffering of Christ, and about how the world was sold through Adam and Eve and bought back as with one heart through Christ and his Virgin Mother. “Mary, the Mother of God spoke to the bride of Christ and said: “My daughter, consider the suffering of my Son, for his limbs were like my own limbs and his heart like my own heart. For just as other children use to be carried in the womb of their mother, so was he in me. But he was conceived through the burning charity of God’s love. Others, however are conceived through the lust of the flesh. Thus, John the evangelist, his cousin, rightly says: ‘The Word was made flesh.’ He came through love and was in me. The Word and love created him in me. He was truly for me like my own heart. For when I …More

Letter to Titus 2,11-14. Beloved: The grace of God has appeared, saving all and training us to reject godless ways and worldly desires and to live temperately, justly, and devoutly in this age, as we await the blessed hope, the appearance of the glory of the great God and of our savior Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to deliver us from all lawlessness and to cleanse for himself a people as his own, eager to do what is good. shareyourcatholicfaith
I once posted a video of a 7 year old girl who had cancer that President Putin invited to the Kremlin with her parents. (Video: youtube.com/watch?v=jpmLbHv6uZs). I found a video recently about the full story of another boy in that video. The young boy Dima who had cancer in the hospital he also visited. He had a dream of a cheerful hospital with lots of color. This is the full story of that young boy and what President Putin did. Though the little boy passed away, his dream came true for other children. The boy with the red bandana on his head in another video was very shy and even hid under the covers. Such sweet children. I thought I would leave another video on a German mother with two daughters who moved to Russia. She tells a story on how they tried to take her children from her. I hear a lot of stories about that from around the world. Thank GOD she and her …More
This is a very touching video. Not just of Dima but everyone involved. Watch as Doctors and Nurses get on their knees to help clean the new hospital. Such humble and caring people I have ever seen. GOD Bless this wonderful man and how he is involved with his people so much.
At Castel Gandolfo this evening, Pope Leo XIV again gave his weekly spontaneous interview. He was asked why he chose Monsignor Ronald Hicks as the new Archbishop of New York. Leo XIV responded (video below): “I’m sorry I can’t comment in this circumstance here.” As became known yesterday, Archbishop Hicks picked a homosexual chancellor for his former Diocese of Joliet. While Pope Leo XIV declined to comment on matters concerning his own house and accountability, he spoke broadly about the responsibilities of others. Some quotes: Christmas ceasefire “I once again make this appeal to all people of good will: that, at least on the feast of the birth of the Saviour, one day of peace may be respected.” “Perhaps they will listen to us, and there will be 24 hours – one full day of peace throughout the world.” Ukraine “Among the things that cause me great sadness in these days is the fact that Russia has apparently refused the request for a Christmas truce.” Gaza “An hour ago I was in …More
DECEMBER 24 SAINT FRANCIS AT GRECCIO breskiq From the Holy Land to Italy It is believed Francis’ inspiration to do a live representation of the birth of Jesus came from his time in the Holy Land in the years 1219 and 1220. Seeing the holy sites of Christ’s birth, life, death, and resurrection made them feel all the more real — and he wanted to recreate that experience. In November 1223, three years before his death, St. Francis was in Rome to await the pope’s approval of the final rule of his friars. The friar and deacon was already very familiar with the hill town of Greccio, about 50 miles north of Rome. He had first arrived there over a decade prior and would frequently return to preach to the people of the surrounding countryside. Eventually, a hermitage was built for St. Francis a short distance outside the town. Ahead of his return to the hermitage, two weeks before Christmas, Francis asked his friend, Lord of Greccio Giovanni Velita, to prepare a cave with live animals and a …More
